He's in his dusty old cat carrier, waiting for the check up.

What a wonderful staff: Extremely kind and knowledgeable and very friendly: from the receptionist to the vet tech to Dr Porter it was a smooth operation and very reasonable when it was all over. Our pup felt very calm in their clean facility.

Another good visit here, and met another of their Veterinarian staff and technician too! All very nice and informative too. Learned things I did t know, that are practiced here, that are not in the state we came from. And I am confident that they have my pets best interest in mind. My boy will probably spend the rest of the day under our bed. But I am very thankful to have found a good veterinarian and staff!

This place is obsessed with dental surgery, no matter how inappropriate it is for the age and condition of your furbaby. Must make quite a profit on it at the expense... monetary and emotional...of its clients. Not impressed and very suspicious. May be making a change soon.Update:. Apparently, unless you have a glowing review for them, they call and ask you to leave and find a new vet, which we did. Unfortunately, I was at work when they called and unable to talk to them in great detail about my concerns, but this is what they told my husband. They even asked him to have me remove this review (which I may have done had I had a better chance to talk to them and clear up misunderstandings). Yelp reviews are for honest experiences and opinions, but unless it's all sunshine and bunnies, you are not welcome at Animal Care Clinic.

UPDATEI received a call from Animal Care Clinic that there was a communication mix-up and they indeed had my pet's paw prints - this change was huge for me as the paw prints were very important to me. The employee who initially informed me there were no paw prints seemed genuinely upset that she had told me incorrect information, deeply apologized for the misinformation and was able to give me my pet's paw prints. I found this person to be authentic and sincere. Based on what I was told on the call, the reason for the employee misinforming me was due to communication gap with the employee and others in the organization. I encourage they change their process to avoid this in the future. While I would have preferred this not happen in the first place, I think the true character of organizations and individuals show in how they rectify mistakes and problems.EARLIER REVIEWOk. So I was fine when they said they would provide remains 1-2 week later even though they had said would be same day by phone. But to not provide promised paw prints especially as it can never be retrieved - devastated. The prints were more important to me than the remains. Crying, literally crying. The loss of my pup is already hard but this hurts.

We want to personally thank Dr. Porter and all her staff for the kind and passionate experience we recently had with them when we had to have our "fur baby" walk down the "Rainbow Road". It is greatly appreciated. They truly are great people. Thank you again.

I love these folks! I have an 18 year old cat who is terrified of the vet, but they are gentle with him - and have kept him alive even with thyroid and kidney problems for several years. And my dog just LOVES going to Animal Care Clinic; whether it's for boarding, grooming, or a vet check-up, he is happy as a clam, and in great health. I am so thankful that our neighbors recommended Animal Care Clinic.

Really impressed with the level of care my pets have received at Animal Care Clinic. Had some serious issues with one of my cats that other vets missed but was caught here. Turns out my cats has a really nervous tick that caused her to lick her arm obsessively. After spending a lot of money at others vets, the Doctors at ACC were able to narrow the problem down to a nervous tick. We got the right medicine needed to help calm my kitty and she is back to her normal self without the licking!

I have been taking my pet to this clinic for over a year now. I thought I was doing the right thing. He had a lump on his chest, rather small to begin with. I took him to this vet, and was told that by looking at it, this was a fatty deposit. I took the word of the vet. With in the next couple of months the lump began to grow rapidly and become hard. More than doubled in size. I took him back to have it removed, and was told at the time of removal that it was not malignant. I spent one more year with my baby. Just last week he went from showing no signs of illness to having a giant lump appear around his abdomen. It appeared with in a day, and he became very ill. I took him in, the vet took a blood test and said that all organs were working perfect, and the spleen would be removed, and that it wasn't cancer. In less than a half an hour after surgery started, I recieved a phone call telling me that his body was riddled with cancer and we could put him back together where he would die in pain within 2 days, or let him go on the table. I chose to let him go, i didn't want him to be in pain. He was 9 years old. It bothered me that he died so quick and of cancer which i was told he didn't have. I asked the vet 2 days ago after doing research about fatty deposits and tumors, whether he biopsied the lump, and he said no he could tell by just looking at it. A year a go i could have started treatment, but i took the word of this vet, and my baby died before his time. Don't let this happen to your pet. Do the research, get a second opinion. Biopsy! don't take the i know what it looks like so that's what it is analysis. I hope this is helpful for others. Thank you.- Heartbroken.
