Best steaks I've ever had!! Andrea (the owner) is nice and her wait staff are knowledgeable with the menu. I'm not a big fan of change and I get the same thing whenever I go there. My order is a little confusing but Andrea always makes it work!

Traveling on a road trip we were passing through Osceola, Nebraska around lunch time and happened upon Terry's Drive-In. Always game for a local spot, we were pulled in by the nostalgic signage and pick up trucks parked outside. We "masked" up for entry and were the only customers observing COVID-19 restrictions. A plexiglass barrier was in place at the ordering counter and the young lady who took our order was wearing a mask. No public restrooms were available. We took our order "to go" and went across the road to the city park. Rest rooms and ample sunshine and social spacing were available.i ordered a pork tenderloin and my husband stuck with his traditional cheeseburger. Both were priced at $4.25 and we shared a side of onion rings ($3ish). The sandwiches were wrapped in foil and were still freshly warm when we unwrapped them at the park. We should have asked for condiments and napkins, as they were not included in our take out bag. Both sandwiches were prepared well, as expected, and we were satisfied with our order.Broasted chicken seems to be the specialty and is available after 5 and all day Sunday according to the posted menu. Ice cream treats are also available but this chicken didn't cross the road to sample.All-in-all Terry's and the Osceola city park were a nice stop along our Saturday road trip.

This has been sold and is no longer. The restaurant as of May 1, 2021 is Andreas Family Dining. Since then it looks pretty rough on the outside. Torn flag and many weeds and broken bench.

Great spot to stop for ice cream or burger. Have lunch special for each day or order what you like. We enjoyed our food. Like having a picknik in AC or you can sit on the nice tables out front. Friendly and clean.

My wife and I were passing threw on a Sunday afternoon and figured we would try it. There were not any other customers waiting on food, it was pretty quiet, a few customers were finishing their meal. Terry the owner was preparing our food. We ordered a 1/4 lb cheeseburger, spicy chicken sandwich, cheese bites, and a chocolate banana malt. Bill came to 16 dollars which I felt was a little much. It could be justified by quality delicious food but, that's not what we got. I was able to view the food being prepped, the burger patty was tossed in a microwave and heated up. Followed behind was the spicy chicken fillet. No gloves were used just bare hands, I'm sure that's a sanitary concern. The burger (although freshly microwaved) looked like it had been sitting in the fridge since at least the day prior, and it tasted as such, an old microwaved burger. My wife said the spicy chicken was okay, but nothing special. The cheese bites were hot and tasted fine, and the Malt was actually pretty tasty. Overall, if they would have just taken the time (since they had plenty) to throw some fresh beef on the grill and freshly fry the chicken fillet I'm sure this review would be quite a different outcome. Has potential to be a outstanding little eatery but It was quite disappointing.

Rural mom and pop diner. The restaurant was very clean and sanitary including the food prep area. My brother and I ate here while on a road trip from Colorado to ohio. We both order a cheese burger. The burger was cooked medium well, seasoned, and had char marks from the grill. The meat was of good quality and was not greasy. The bun was soft and fresh but nothing special. A grown man would eat two of the regular size burgers as they are only 1/4 pound of meat.My brother and I shared 3 sides (all seemed to be frozen) spicy curly fries. They were not spicy but they were spiced. I would compare them to Arby's fries but not as greasy. Mozzarella sticks. Which were cooked all the way threw and taste fine. I don't know what else to say I love cheese and fried stuff, so...Fried mushrooms (my brother add those to his burger at the table) if you are a fan of mushrooms give them a try. I don't care for mushrooms so I only ate 1 and it did not convert me.We also got one piece of fried chicken, just so we could give a review. The chicken was prepared fresh for us and took about 15 minutes. It was delicious. Definitely get the fried chicken. We also got two chocolate malts to take on the road with us. Soft serve ice cream, malt powder, whole milk. It was a good malt but like the hamburger bun nothing special. It was husband and wife that serviced us. I'm assuming the owners. They were friendly but not very chatty. I give 4 stars because there is room for improvement. If I ever drive that way again I will stop for chicken and ice cream.

This is my favorite place to eat in Osceola. Clean, good service, good food. I recommend the broasted chicken and the milk shakes. Their milk shakes are made the old fashioned way with hard ice cream. Its an old Mom and Pop place. You have to walk through the back of the kitchen to get to the bathroom, but I think that's just fine. It reminds me of when I was younger and that arrangement was more common :)

Over priced for the proportions you receive. Owner prefers to hire teenagers for minimal pay. Never have I seen a ice cream machine in a bar.

Very terrible. Ice cream is made with water. Has a very waxy taste. The employees are all high schoolers they are not very experienced and cannot count change back. I know for a fact to not come here again. Don't get me started on the prices. Over priced for crappy food.
