We had a quality issue with our custom sofas and had some miscommunication regarding if I called within my warranty period (which they realized that I had later). Initially they denied the claim. However, after they realized what had occurred, they went above and beyond to rectify the situation. I am receiving a credit from the store for the full price of the sofas that I purchased. I appreciate very much that they worked so hard to ensure that we were taken care of. They stated multiple times that it is important that I was happy with the final result and that they really helped me get something I am happy with moving forward. Melody is amazing up there!

Stopped in to browse some items for the home, overall very nice store. Very clean and lots of quality looking products. The selection was a little light and the prices in my opinion were quite high. The staff was friendly though not sure I can afford to shop here. Overall very nice place to browse.

Almost $3k on a dining table with a few months wait time, delivery was promised pre-Thanksgiving so we pulled the trigger anyhow. I took the day off for delivery today 11/19 which was prompt and on schedule. Delivery guys were friendly and careful but when assembling the table the leaves did not fit it. Company is taking the table back to be reworked now and I'm getting the timeframe of "maybe a month or so". Table is paid in full already and cancellation/return is not an option. I am just out a table for the Thanksgiving holiday now so I have no idea what I am supposed to do for the family meal. Just about ANY amount of QC would've been able to catch this before I had to waste a day of time off (and another one when they get the order correct now). For the price I just expected better than this all around. If the store is able to do anything to make this right and redeliver a functional table I will update the rating but right now I am extremely disappointed in all of it.

I am extremely disappointed in the service recieved at this store. I was told in April the expensive livingroom furniture would be completed in 5 weeks. it is now 18 weeks later and I have no furniture. I have called repeatedly and been told the owner will call back but she has not. I understand furniture takes time to make. I understand there could be delays outside the owners control. I don't understand the lack of communication, lack of follow up and poor customer service. This is within the business control and an active choice. I thought I was purchasing quality furniture from a reputable business. I was wrong. I would not recommend going to this store.

No return policy on their website, no return policy on the receipt we were handed, no return policy posted on the customer counter, no return policy posted on the wall anywhere in the store. Bottom-line ... no return policy available to the customer ... anywhere!My bad ... I took back our purchase because it was an unsafe tipping risk and had to fight to get a store credit. I will never use this store credit which I received only after Lisa (the owner) stated ... "Oh yeah, we can sell those".When I returned the purchase, I stayed over to the side so other customers would not hear our discussion. I called today instead of going to the store to get a copy of the document that we signed that told us there was no refund. Again, I called so other customers didn't hear what was going on. Lisa wouldn't answer the simple question ... What document did we sign that showed us there was no refund on anything returned? In fact, she hung up on me mid-sentence. I then called back and she immediately picked up the phone and hung up without speaking.So I went to the store ... only to have her turn mid-sentence and walk to the employee only portion of the store. She ran away because she could NOT produce any document that I signed that acknowledged I know and accept their no return policy. Yes, I raised my voice (volume, not anger) just so she could hear me as she walked away.I have never done business with such an unprofessional, and yes ... unethical establishment in my life! There furniture is beautiful and we have multiple pieces still! Given that, the unprofessional manner of handling this little episode, and unethical manner of "making the policy up on the fly and NOT BEFORE the customer was told no return.Shop here at your own peril!

A friend recommended I try Amish Furniture in Elkhorn to find a custom contemporary dining room table with upholstered chairs and bench seating. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but what I found was a fabulous selection of some of the highest quality furniture I have seen in Nebraska and top notch customer service. Don't go if you are in a rush. I was not looking for any other furniture, but spent longer than intended appreciating the variety of contemporary, mid-century modern, and traditional offerings for every room in the house. Lisa, the owner, has done an outstanding job making selections for the store, transforming Amish Furniture into a tasteful and sophisticated shopping experience with displays full of fun little extras--pillows, lamps/lighting, art, and more. My mom and I loved working with Traci. She was tremendously helpful answering all of our questions and was so personable that we immediately felt comfortable with her. She clearly enjoys her role helping people make well-informed furniture selections. We also appreciated the straight talk (i.e., warning) regarding the often extended ordering-to-arrival timeframe for some items. Traci explained that the vendors Amish Furniture uses recently had to scale back on custom orders simply because they have been unable to keep up with the demand for the uniquely superior-quality furniture they produce. Longer arrival times are not the result of furniture being manufactured overseas somewhere, as it is all made in the U.S.A.! My mom and I agreed that the quality was worth the wait. Don't expect Mrs. B's discount pricing or a rewards program. Prices are as marked whether you are buying $300, $3,000, or $30,000 worth of merchandise. When prices are slashed, it is all business, meaning Lisa is changing out the inventory and you happened to be there at the right time. I appreciated the clarity and professionalism of Lisa and Traci and thoroughly enjoyed the whole shopping process.

If I could give them a zero, I would. I have hesitated to write a review on this site because I know they have had some delays that were out of their control, but over the past two weeks, I have HAD IT. We ordered upholstered furniture from them late December, early January and it is still not here. Not only that, when you ask for an update, they are rude and surly. How dare we want to know when the merchandise that we paid 50% of the full price for is actually going to arrive. Last week, I decided to give them a second chance and went in to order two bedside tables. They assured me that they would not have the same problems with the wooden furniture as they did the upholstered. I needed to go back home and check the pulls on my other bedroom furniture. The salesperson told me to call her or email her on the card she gave me. I called back that evening, shortly before six, the phone range 100 times (ONE HUNDRED TIMES) and no one ever answered. I know they were open, I had just been there. So then I emailed them, their email bounced back. I checked the email for accuracy, yep, it was the one on the card. I finally called again today as I have been out of town and it rang 60 (SIXTY) times before anyone answered. This time the person on the other end of the phone was rude and very short with me when I asked if they were having trouble with their phones. She asked me if I knew who my salesperson was and I told her it was Kelly. She then transferred me to Kelly and after 25 more rings (I have a fetish about counting phone rings when I am phoning a vendor) it went back to the same surly woman. I told her that I was ready to cancel my entire order and she told me that no matter how much trouble that I was having with them because they had cashed my check, ordered my furniture and that they had a no cancellation policy so too bad for you. She then transferred me back to Kelly who told me they had been having phone problems for MONTHS and that the new manager was going to take care of them. I can't believe this. DON'T EVER GO THERE. DON'T EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. They are amateurish at best and horrible at customer service at worst. YUKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!
