Ahhhhhh . . . . Amigos! I have such fond memories of stopping here for tacos after a night of whatever teenagers used to do. It was the latest place open and the food tasted so good. It was the first place I ever had a jalapeno . . . . and it was scary. (Ah youth.) I'm sure it still serves this niche well but it seems that I may have finally outgrown it. "Thank you Amigos for being the taco place of my youth . . . . and thank you Mexico for having so many taco places that showed me what tacos (and chilies) really taste like."

Great Nebraska staple, good after drinks, late night, and very missed when living out of state. It's almost mandatory to get the hot sauce, the food just tastes better that way. Oh, and cheesies!!!!!!

Amigos has its own spot in my heart among other Mexican food restaurants. Never have I met a menu item there I didn't like and the professionals behind the counter always are happy and courteous. The restaurant itself with its bi-level seating and now outdoor seating is just what the doctor ordered. I am always beyond satisfied with the generous portions and beautiful use of cheese. The sauces and salsas, contrary to another review, are like they were poured from the salsa heavens. If you're a local and haven't been here shame on you. If you are passing through drifter-style, you can get an epic meal without an epic price tag.

The last three fricken times I've gone there i get a cheese frenchie, 3 soft shell tacos, and 5 ranches. Every single time they've messed up my order. I am very disappointed with their service. When I say they messed up my order it's been forgetting to give me a frenchie or tacos! Even ranch 2 times! The workers also don't smile and told me to just go thru the drive thru again just to order a taco THEY didn't get when I ordered. And i speak very fluent English, so understanding is not a valid excuse. May I also add the line was very long.
