This place can't get it right?!?! I swore never to come back, but in a moment of weakness, my wife talked me into getting dinner there tonight. MISTAKE. The last time I was there it took over 50 minutes to get food. Yes it was busy, but this is a fast food joint, I expected better. Flash forward to the present, a decade later I come back and guess what, fast service BUT...I am missing 1/3 of my order. Now to the food. Tasteless. Dry chicken, lacking seasoning. Tater tots are greasy. I guess i'll take this sign from the universe and stay away from this place.

I wouldn't usually bother writing about fast-food unless it was pretty damn good.This is an Amigos/Kings Classic, and I guess I haven't been by in a while because I was underwhelmed with the burger-side of things in the past. But I really did miss their Mexican. They had a deal on a $3.99 enchilada platter--the steak enchilada came with a great creamy sauce, and side of rice, beans and lettuce with really fresh tomatoes. And if you go into a Mexican fast-food joint and there are customers who are speaking Spanish, they must be doing something right (of course the 5 year-old Latina in the party ordered a hamburger). Staff will bring the food to your table, and later come by with complimentary mints or lollipops (which impressed the little girl). They even bus the tables at this place.The experience left me happy and willing to come back soon to try a deluxe burger and a shake.

I am from grand island but now live in Missouri. Whenever I come to gi I visit this restaurant. I've watched it go through many owners and states of cleanliness. This place is now squeaky clean and the food is awesome!

For fast food this is pretty tasty stuff. The bean burritos are no joke and the steak rice bowl was very good for the low prices. Best of all are the King's Classic frenchies sold here. They're fried to perfection and come with pickles, like the world's most perfect bar food (just not in a bar). I'm still a bigger fan of Don & Millie's frenchie but theirs is a very, very close second. At this location, which is extremely dated but clean, we found very friendly service from all staff. The only odd thing for me was trying to bus my own table because the staff clean up and mints brought to the table wasn't expected at all. They have a really nice salsa bar too. I wasn't crazy about the tiny water cups but can't complain when they're free! This is just blocks from the Hastings Museum by the way, for visitors who may be interested in a cheap & quick yet decent meal.

a must visit whenever we are in NE. Crisp Meat burritos are the bomb!

omg. i still crave amigos. amigos was the best EVER back in the 90's....i still crave the beef soft taco & NACHOS!!!!!!!!!!!! oh my goodness. I like to think about the days of mixing all the sodas from the fountain....then to the days of skipping school with friends and driving to amigos. hahaha

The meal i ordered was the Combo "C". It came promptly and came hot. I suspect my burrito was premade along with the crispito it came with. My grandpa had a Mexican pizza which was tough and didn't seem put together very well. Ranch costs 50 cents each to add on, which is a downgrade from the condiment bar they had previously. Staff were sitting in the restaurant goofing around and a couple had headphones in while working the front. It was clean, but chairs stacked everywhere and the AC blows right onto just about every table making your food turn super cold quick. Don't really recommend coming here.

Your better off buying a burrito at a gas station opening it up and putting road kill inside. Don't waste your time or money. You'll pay for it twice!!!!
