We moved into our new house not quite two years ago. Our system has been great. We had an issue last spring that was repaired within days and at no charge. Today they responded for a broken sprinkler head and a leak in the main manifold. Arrived on time with a smile and easy fix. Thank you!

This company installed our sprinkler system before we purchased our house. When we needed it serviced, we decided to call them since their number was on the control panel. They have since winterized our sprinkler system and moved one of the lines. We have been very happy with the service we received both times. They are very easy to get ahold of, got us quickly scheduled both times, and communicated with us every step of the way. The gentlemen who came out to winterize our system showed my husband how to do it so we could do it ourselves in the future. It would have been really easy for them to skip this step so they could get more money out of us in the future, so this particularly impressed me. When we had the line moved, the owner came out to my house and gave me a free estimate and explained to me in detail what needed to be done. He told me the cost would not be above a certain amount and, sure enough, it wasn't. If you want a company that is honest, reliable, and easy to work with, Alternate Rain is a great option.

Alternate rain is a great company. They are family owned and I was very impressed with them with the installation and even a repair they did because of a contractor hitting the line. I would use them over any other company... Bought a new House they installed the sprinkler system- adapter broke and they came out to fix it- got my water bill for 965 dollars- they told me they weren't responsible since they consider that settling. I simply stated im not asking you to pay for the water bill but i shouldnt have to pay for 600 dollars in water that i didnt use because of your bad install- the lady kept claiming that they dont cover for faulty equipment and that i was SOL

I built a new Celebrity Home and just wanted to know an estimated time frame of when the sprinklers would be installed. I closed on March 10th and this was about 6 weeks after close. I left a message and Jackie called me back in less than 24 hours yet apologized for the late call back. I don't expect anyone to call back same day so the fact that she was apologizing - was impressive. She gave me an ETA as they were really working hard to get all these sprinklers installed since spring brought some great weather. THE NEXT DAY I came home from work and not only were my sprinklers installed - but my sod as well. I know she has nothing to do with the sod but it all made this homeowner very happy. She was friendly, professional and actually a pleasure a talk with and had some great laughs. I have used Alternate Rain for all my irrigation needs for the past 10+ years of being a homeowner. Prior to that, my parents used Alternate Rain for their irrigation services. Alternate Rain has always provided the best irrigation service that I could ask for. Their entire staff is incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, friendly, honest, and hardworking. The company provides quality work and does not cut corners. I often notice dry spots in other lawns and Alternate Rain has done a fantastic job on two of my properties ensuring the sprinkler heads are placed for complete coverage!I know many friends who also utilize Alternate Rain who have always had a good experience. I will continue to use them for all my sprinkler needs.

First let me start this with saying they don't even deserve one star but I have to choose something. Recently I contacted this company and spoke to the owners wife Jackie. Who I must say she was wonderful to speak with and setup an appointment for an estimate. We chose this company because they seem to be the main ones who install sprinkler systems with celebrity homes. When signing to build a celebrity home you even have the option to add a sprinkler system which would be this company. I am so glad we declined that offer at the time knowing what I know now. The day of our appointment my husband rushed home from work to be here on time so he could be the one to talk about the sprinklers. Our appointment was at 430 and around 445-5pm nobody was here nor did we receive a call yet. So I texted Jackie because that's how she communicates which is great honestly but no response for this. I did ask if someone was coming out still. Around 515pm I get a call and this man was hard to understand and he was not speaking clear. It ended up being the owner Doug I believe his name was. He thought he had the wrong number because he only asked for my husband but once I realized who this one I said he had the correct number. Well he went on to say how bad his day was and I said ok so when will you be here because we had you down at 430. He said he had two people ahead of us still and didn't know if he could make it. I apologized and said I'm sorry but this needs to happen today my husband has a very busy schedule that constantly changes. He said FINE and hung up on me. I literally couldn't believe it. So I reached back out to Jackie to inform her of this behavior but no response just yet and that's ok. To be honest I don't mind if someone is running behind but I don't appreciate the disrespect. Once he arrives which was only about 30 mins after that nasty phone call things got worse. My husband greets him outside and the first thing this OWNER says is how bad his day has been and how he got a ticket by the state patrol and went on for at least 5 minutes bashing the state patrol. Now my husband is a state trooper and this all was said to my husband in front of his patrol car. My husband tried changing the subject to sprinklers but this man didn't care at first. I think it's very safe to say how much he dislikes law enforcement. Moving on from this finally Doug, the owner lectures my husband on watering which we try daily but he works and I am 8 months pregnant and our yard is huge but we try. He kept saying we should have added this into our loan which honestly that's our business but like I mentioned earlier they work with celebrity. My husband mentioned maybe only doing half the yard since we are getting a fence and in-ground pool within the next few years. Doug said he doesn't really want to waste his time on a part time job. Now we were not set on a "part time" job we just wanted options. I also did tell Jackie this when I setup the appointment. Well he left after about 10 minutes or so and my husband came in and told me all about it. I literally couldn't believe what I was hearing. I am more upset about the fact he felt it was ok to talk so poorly about my husbands career on our property. Everyone is entitled to there own opinions but doing this on someone's property was disgusting. Now I ended up getting a text from Jackie saying how her husband works in this heat all day and we all need to understand that and things run late but it's ok and that he would never tell anyone no or cancel. Let's not forget most people work in this heat and my husband is one of them who never complains because it's his job and understands. She also went on to apologize for me having a bad day even though I never said I was. She mentioned they do the best sprinklers in town and better than any other company here locally. Her text was very rude and defensive. I responded and mentioned how disrespectful we felt about his comments here on our property and how we will not be supporting their company in anyway and that I plan to share our experience with everyone possible. Now they may do great work but I would much rather go with a company who respects clients regardless of a persons career choice or who they are. To sum all this up my husband ended up receiving a call the next day from the owner Doug. First thing he said was "so I'm assuming you don't want a quote" my husband says no we are going with another company. The owner went on to say he thought they ended things pretty well at our house and my husband said well I don't want to get into this and I am also at work. Doug said we'll I hope you don't post a negative review.

I called Alternate Rain to come out and check my system after starting it up for the first time . It was running even though the system was off. It turned out to be a small rock in one of the valves keeping it from closing. After Doug left I started it up the next morning and another sprinkler head was not working. It was leaking out at the bottom by the hose. Doug came back out the next day and fixed it for free and didn't charge me another service call even though it wasn't anything to do with the installation. Someone ran over the head and pushed the entire sprinkler down and it popped loose making a small geyser. Thank you for the fast service on both of my problems. I highly recommend Alternate Rain to anyone looking for a sprinkler system.
