A Marriott property - I liked how close it was to the Ak-Sar-Ben area, especially Baxter Arena. I also liked the flatscreen tv and electronic plug in options. You can never have enough of those. The lounge, workout room and pool looked cool, however I didn't use them.I wish the room was larger. It was a bit tight - even for a solo traveler. I'm also not sure about the open bathroom area.A continental breakfast is not served, however the hotel is happy to sell you some microwave and snack-type items that are located near the front desk.As always, please do your due diligence, however I think this is a solid hotel in the middle of town.3.5 stars - rounding up to four.

Thoroughly enjoyed our staycation here for a Galentine's day get-together with friends. We opted for a slightly larger 2 queen room with a small seating area and I'm so glad we did. This made staying "in" so much more enjoyable.I also called ahead that day to see if they would accommodate an early check-in so that I could add some special touches to the room for our friends, and they were happy to accommodate. The front desk staff was usually quick to help, and one woman who's name I've forgotten was especially friendly and helpful. (She was headed to the Superbowl a few days after our stay if that helps management identify her )We used the small, but clean, pool and enjoyed that portion of the visit as well. The lobby / bar / games area was a great touch and we enjoyed grabbing a board game to play here and just get out of the room without being forced into the winter weather outside. The breakfast package included a stipend of $10/adult on the reservation, which covered a nut/fruit oatmeal and an Oatly cold brew, or a single burrito or egg sandwich. It was all adequate, but The breakfast alone would not sell me on coming back. Overall, it was a great stay, and they even offered us a late check out, So we definitely felt like we got our money's worth between the early check-in, the late checkout, the good service overall, and the included breakfast (we booked via the American Airlines portal with pts+cash).

Quick and easy stay at Aloft Omaha Aksarben - only was here for one night but it was all we needed. There was a bar in the lobby with some additional games and seating area.We didn't go check out the pool since it was late and went straight to our room. This Aloft is definitely more upscale than some of the other Alofts that I've stayed at. We had one room with a queen size bed, even though it was a small room, we felt like we had plenty of space with a small corner seating and table.

We love these dog friendly hotels. King bed was comfy, service friendly, love the modern eclectic decor and room was clean. It was Chunk and Monk approved! They just need a small fenced in dogpark on premises and our dogs would be thrilled!

We stay at Alofts quite often, but this is our first time at this location. It's new, clean and in a great location. I probably wouldn't stay here again. The bathroom area is really poorly designed. No privacy wall like other Aloft locations, so you are literally showering in full view of your spouse/partner. Then when you step out of the shower there is a giant mirror reflecting your arse all around the room.Check in was quick but the attendant looked like she rather be anywhere else on Earth. A little smile goes a long way.

My daughters and I did a little staycation here in Omaha and I thought the bright colors and modern features would be an appeal to them, which they were. Overall, we had a positive experience, but there is definitely insight to be gained from other reviews. Specifically, as others have said, the room layout is unique and lacks privacy. The toilet area is closed off by a door, but the shower area is rather open - behind a wall with the beds, but not closed off on one side. For me, with daughters, I don't mind, but my pre-teen daughter did not enjoy the exposure. Additionally, if you and your hotel mate have different waking/sleeping hours this may present a challenge.I also found some attention to details lacking - no towels in the pool area (had to call the front desk), our room was missing some toiletry items and yes, the shower has no soap dish, which is annoying. The location is convenient - walkable to Aksarben Village and I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, but its important to keep some of these quirks in mind if booking.

Do not stay here if you want any service. They won't clean your room, you can't get towels, there's physically a bar, but no drinks and no bartender. You would be lucky if you found someone at the front desk. It's a self serve dumpster of a spot. Pathetic.

The staff at the hotel was great! That is the only positive thing I have to say. The food was horrible! If I had wanted a microwaved Cheeseburger and Mac n' Cheese, I would have gone to the store. Both were served cold and NOT worth the price. No housekeeping was done even though we had asked for it. I will not stay at another Aloft hotel again.

Barking dogs, people fighting and scaring the shit out of my kids. You could hear people having sex. The walls are super thin. U could hear every time toilets flushed. Dirty carpet in the room, it was either freezing cold or hot as balls. The shower ran out of hot water after 2 of our 4 people took showers. This is not up to Marriott standards. This hotel ruined our trip. I don't think we will be back to omaha. Also if u are here in a storm there is no basement or safe room, you are supposed to huddle together by the elevators on the first floor.
