I own a digitization company where I not only have to acquire obsolete technology, but need it to be in perfect running order, to that it can play obsolete formats. I have been using Alltronix for eight years and refuse to take my technology to anyone else. The staff is warm and friendly, the work is top-shelf and the repair technician has forgotten more about these old technologies than most "retro tech" repairmen ever knew in the first place! I will be using them for as long as they will have me. Top rating!

Awful. Took my turntable in to get repaired because the left channel was not working. They kept it well over a week, and never contacted me once. After a couple calls, and two weeks total, they said they couldn't figure it out. I picked it up and took it elsewhere. The other place figured it out immediately by simply checking the left channel's RCA plug. That's all it took and the other placed fixed it in minutes. The technician at Alltronix clearly did not even try. They just borrowed my equipment for two weeks, did literally nothing, and then collected payment. I will never take anything there again, and you shouldn't either.

Read reviews online and thought these guys would be good place to bring my VCRs in to get repaired or replaced. Got sold a "new" VCR for $20 after paying $60 to get my other ones looked up, but it didn't even work after bringing it back and turns out it was broken (despite them telling me it worked perfectly). Got that one exchanged for a fourth one which apparently worked fine in the store, but as soon as I bring it home-it doesn't even turn on! And when I asked for my money back for one for the third VCR, they told me they didn't do refunds/returns!Bottom line, I've spent so much time and money there that I should've just bought a new VCR off of Amazon. The fact the two VCRs they gave me didn't even work when I brought them home and the lack of refunds have left me incredibly unpleased and I do not recommend going to this place at all.

Brought my gummed up turntable here to get it fixed. As I walked in, the owner seemed a little 'off' to me, but I wasn't too worried about it because it was my first time there. He said they would fix my turntable and would get to it in about 5 days at a reasonable price and give me a call. 9 days later I call to see how it was going. Hadn't started on it. In another 6 days I call back, still hadn't started on it. After 20 days, I finally get a call from a employee and he let me know that he started on it and had a few questions on what I wanted done. Day 27, I have a missed phone call, I call back, the owner answered and then he hung up on me. I call back again and talk to the employee who fixed my turntable. He was very friendly and filled me in on everything that he fixed and how much it was going to cost me.Bottom line, the owner was rude, did not keep his original timeline, he never called me to update me or to tell me that they were behind schedule (which I would've completely understood) and what really burned my a** was when he hung up on me! I would go back and give the employee that worked on my turntable my business, but I will never go back and give Alltronix my business. The price was reasonable and fair, but the customer service and timeline was terrible. I'll pay more money and go elsewhere where they treat their paying customers with kindness and respect.

DON'T TAKE ANYTHING TO THESE PEOPLE! There's a reason they only charge half of what anyone else does as a drop off fee! I had a blu ray player that wouldn't read discs anymore and they only had a $25 deposit, so I figured "awesome." I get to their store and it's disgusting! It's like a hoarders dream of busted electronics just lying around everywhere and I was told they'd look at the blu Ray player that day. I called the next day for an update and was told "who told you it'd get looked at the same day?" Like I was crazy or something. Then I go back to pick it up after 4 days and their "technician" said "ok I cleaned it. It works! Yeah there might be a motor going bad that needs to be replaced but I didn't do that." I took it home and tried it out and it worked worse then when I gave it to them. It would OCCASIONALLY still read a disc before but after their "cleaning" it wouldn't read anything! 3 weeks later I said screw it and took it to sperry TV and they fixed it in a week! Plays perfectly now! Go with Sperry!

First off, you know this is not exactly a normal electronics shop when you walk in and see a bunch of other stuff for sale.BUT, I've had good luck with them. They only charge $30 to troubleshoot, and they fixed two microwaves for $15 (+ $30 to open them up). My legit repair shop charged $80 to tell me they couldn't fix fix my old tape deck. I'm going to see if these guys can.

This place is a joke! Took a DVD player that was skipping and they put some grease on it and now it does not work at all! It is no wonder that they only accept cash and no questions asked! I agree with the other commenters that the place is disgusting too. Sad thing there are no other services that can repair this type of electronics in town.

Took in my LG 40" TV that was 3 1/2 years old with a 3 yr warranty. Expensive TV when purchased. Screen was black and no sound. They fixed it quickly and it works as if new. Cost less that a cheep 19" TV to get fixed. I would definitely go back and highly recommend this shop.
