Another view of their terrible installation!!!!
Our slope was leveled by the Allo installers!
Our fence is old and the rock and dirt are damaging our fence.
The bottom fence rail is not visible because of the rock and dirt put against the fence by Allo.

We've bounced back and forth from allo to spectrum depending on who offers the best deal. I've never had a problem with the service from allo, unlike spectrum, but it does seem like their technicians are not very knowledgeable. During our most recent change the technician cut our coax cable going to our main living room because he wanted to put a fiber only port in the house. He did this without saying anything... I discovered it the next day. Overall it isn't a big deal since we don't have a tv there but it's just puzzling that it happened.

Terrible customer service, hardware that doesn't work and a generally bad company. So bad I'm considering going back to Spectrum.

We gave been in Lincoln NE for one year. We have come to know the technicians who arrive at our home to 'fix' our issues with Allo throughout that time. This last one, when we have freezing, no cable, and zero tv service is pretty much the last. Now, they have dug up our back yard on behalf of an unsuspecting neighbor who just signed up for Allo. If you buy a house that has the connection / box / tower in your yard,, BEWARE! Allo will come lay lines across your yard, then come many weeks / months later to bury them... only to make your own service inferior, and to cause you lots of work to fix and repair the damage done to your your yard.

Allo fiber was the bane of my existence for almost 2 years. Terrible management and terrible service. They've had multiple OSHA violations and even worksite deaths within the past year. Very obvious the CEO is disassociated from the company seeing they have moved so harshly into corporate life. Sad to see men die working for him, yet he does nothing about it.

I heard about Allo deploying fiber Internet service as early as 2016, and I was excited to give it a try as soon as it was available. I have enjoyed high-speed Internet service in Nebraska since 2000. I had cable most of the time when the cable company was Time Warner, and I tried Windstream DSL for 2 years. In 2018, Allo was finally available in my area, so I signed up. Installation was fast, and the tech arrived on time. Since I had service, my service has been reliable and fast. When I fell on financially difficult times, I appreciated that Allow had a cheaper 50 Mbps tier. I have also tried the 1 Gbps service which was overkill for me. I am currently on their 500 Mbps plan. In 2022, I bought a Mac desktop and laptop that are capable of using Wi-Fi 6, and I looked on Allo's website to see if they offered a router with Wi-Fi 6. They do, and they replaced the old router with a new one with Wi-Fi 6 for free. The only inconvenience is the old router was the gateway, router, and wireless access point all in one and the new equipment has the fiber gateway separate from the new router & access point. That means 2 things to plug in instead of 1, but that's a minor inconvenience. So how does this compare to my experience with Cable and DSL? I'll give Time Warner credit for being good before they turned into Spectrum. However, fiber offers much faster upload speed than cable. Fiber also offers much better latency than cable. The low latency matters a lot for gamers, people who need to connect to another computer in another location, and people who use their Internet service for video calls. I tried Windstream DSL from 2012-2014 because it was cheaper than Time Warner cable. The one good thing I can say about DSL is the latency was always better than cable. Fiber's latency is even better than DSL. Windstream DSL reliability was so fickle that I never knew if my service was going to be working when I got home from work. In the 2 years I had Windstream DSL, I accumulated 2 months of time with my service not working. I wrote a lot about the technical aspect of Allo, but what about the human element? What about the customer service? I have contacted Allo several times over the phone and their chat service on their site. They have always been easy to get ahold of and very helpful. When they initially installed my service in 2018 and when they came to install the new equipment in 2022, they were on time and efficient. In 2021, I had tough times and got behind on my bill. When I was able to get the money to get caught up on my bill, customer service was quick to get my service up and running again.I absolutely recommend Allo in Nebraska. You will do business with a company that cares more about you than some giant cable company, and DSL is an old technology that just can't compete with Fiber. I am so grateful that another company was willing to challenge the longstanding Cable & DSL duopoly that existed in Lincoln for so long.

We called Allo so we could get rid of spectrum and their corrupt billing practices and shotty service. They came out and did a pre-install inspection of the yard and said they would return on the 20th to lay a temporary cable because supposedly the ground is frozen so they cant bury it until spring (lies), they said they would then return on the 23rd to install the box on the side of the house and install everything inside the house so that we have phone and internet, did not want television service.Today is the 20th, Allo did not show up, we called and were told that we arent even on the schedule after waiting three weeks for them to come and hook up the temporary cable. We told them dont bother coming out, we want service from a company we can rely on, not one worse than what we already have. After reading the majority of these yelp reviews i think we made the right decision. When someone gives you this kind of service right out of the gate as a new customer its time to give some serious thought to your decision and as someone else stated.... RUN away from them as fast as you can.

Unprofessional and disrespectful. ALLO Fiber's work crews wrecked our neighborhood's sidewalks and yards, and then left them. Yards were totally trashed. My neighbor had a huge hole dug in his front yard that was just left. If ALLO's coming to town, get ready for months of blocked driveways right when you need to get to work or take a kid to school, trash in your yard, landscaping steamrolled. The company didn't put our sidewalks back to how they were (flat and even). The "what to expect video" on their website (link below) is about as far from what we experienced as a game of rock-paper-scissors is to a gladiator death match. The installation vandalizes property, and it feels like our City Council got scammed. Nobody, and I really mean nobody, wanted ALLO or chose to go with them, and instead we just had our sidewalks wrecked. https://www.allocommunications.com/construction/#:~:text=What%20to%20Expect%20During%20Construction,is%20disabled%20in%20your%20browser.

Allo fiber continually increases prices. While at the same time not bothering to provide a more cost effective lower speed solution.

Allo Fiber is the worst. They destroyed neighborhoods in Colorado. Water line breaks, cut other companies' lines, dug massive holes in people's yards and never filled them. The company is a joke. They hire workers who don't speak English, then put a "foreman" sitting in a truck on their phone doom-scrolling to handle the customer service. In my town, I'm sure there were serious "back room deals" to get the entire city fiber. The only problem? Fiber was already as my house from two other companies AND they're cheaper than Allo!! I will never, and I repeat NEVER sign with Allo. None of my neighbors, family, or friends will either. Stay far away from this company. Shady and unprofessional.
