Update: I drove by the other day and this place looked closed. So, this is "Omaha Style" BBQ.We stopped in here for the first time tonight and ordered some BBQ from the large menu provided here. The food was ok, I think this is one of those places that boil their ribs, not that anything is wrong with that, but they did it a big long since I kept biting through the bones, which isn't a favorite feeling of mine. But the brisket was pretty good, and the fried chicken they substituted for the bbq chicken which they were out of was also good. The sauce was a sweeter sauce, it was also ok although I generally go for a spicier sauce on my BBQ.There was a wide choice of sides on the menu, but there seemed to be some issue with which ones they were out of, we were told that they didn't have macaroni salad, so we chose a double potato salad only to find out that they had only one potato salad, but did in fact have macaroni salad. We also got some baked beans that turned out to be really good, and some tasty, if a bit dry, corn bread muffins. They claimed to have fried okra, which would have been really good if it had managed to find its way into our bag before we left.Service was friendly if a bit slow and disorganized. Pricing was acceptable at around $40 for a good sized meal for 2 people.I want to go back, and I really want this to be a great place. It is locally owned and family operated and I like to encourage that sort of thing...They've had good reviews in the local newspaper, maybe they just had a bad night. The website seems to be down as I write this, but it was up a few weeks ago, not sure about that. One weird thing...Their phone number is the same one I had been assigned for a home telephone in 1997 when I first moved back to Omaha from Okinawa.
