All About Dogs Grooming Salon & Daycare

I was recommended this place by my family who had been taking their collie, Indy, here for pretty much his whole life. I took my German shepherd Gideon here for the first time about a year ago and Lia is amazing! Gideon is a very anxious dog and she is great with him. In addition every time I take him in to get his nails filed, whoever it is doing his nails always does great with him. He clearly doesn't love it, but everyone is so gentle and patient with him, I'm really impressed. Recently my boyfriend and I adopted another German shepherd, this time a puppy named Skye. She had her first day of daycare last week and loved it!! They even gave her the lunch I packed for her which I really liked. She came home exhausted and fell asleep in the car. I really like that when I picked her up, the staff for the daycare side had very specific reports of who she played with, how she played, etc. As someone who used to work in a doggy daycare, I have to say this place is top notch. They don't overbook their daycare side (which is huge to me because so many dog daycare places have 1 person to 40 even 50+ dogs, so it's easy to miss some key behaviors in that environment) so my pup wasn't overwhelmed and I knew she was watched well all day. Overall, imo, the best daycare place in town and their grooming is top notch. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Today was our first time here. Everything ok until we got home and both my daughter and I got hurt with his nails while playing. When I take a closer look, THE HORROR! I'll have to find a way to fix this disaster and obviously I'm not bringing him back again!

Lori and staff are a great grouos of gals. I've dropped in a couple times before I got my dog to see tgeir shop and soeak with them and they impressed me every time. Sure, it's a bit messy but that's because they're cutting hair. They can't clean up every follicle as soon as it hits the floor but they do clean up frequently throughout each hour. I'm glad to see they're running a daycare now too. I might start using them in the winter to help my pup burn some energy while I'm at work.

Lori and the crew at AADG are the best! My poor Sammy was so stinky. The let me drop him off and pick him up later and he's a brand new boy. He smells clean and his nails are nice and trimmed. I love their dog friendly atmosphere. You can tell they are all dog lovers. Very reasonable too. We'll be back!

This place doesn't deserve one star! I have been taking my Golden Retriever, Teddy, here since he was eight weeks old. I had some problems I needed to take care of that would require my finding him a temporary home. Kit, an employee offered to watch him for me and I thought she would be a great option because we had become friends over the past year. She had him for about a month and decided that she wasn't going to give him back to me. When I had to involve the police to retrieve my dog from the shop, where he was being kept, the owner Lori, was undoubtedly angry. I had spoken with her the day prior and asked her to have Kit (the employee) call me back because she wasn't returning Teddy to me after numerous attempts the past several weeks. After the police helped me get Teddy and I left the shop, she texted me saying "she really wanted to help me yesterday" because I was so upset, but was glad she didn't because I embarrassed her by involving the police at her shop earlier. When she said that, it occurred to me that she had unknowingly admitted that she knew my dog wasn't being returned to me. We all love our dogs, sometimes that's all we have in this life! When I found out the owner knew what was going on the entire time and didn't do the right thing morally or legally, I decided that I had to warn people about it. For the owner of a grooming business to knowingly and willingly be an accessory to the theft of a clients dog and not help, is absolutely beyond appalling!!!!!

This is a great place to get your dog groomed, especially if you have a higher energy dog, like a husky or an Australian shepherd. The staff is very knowledgable about different dog breeds and temperaments and my two dogs did great there. I highly recommend it!!!

I went here based on reviews on Yelp and the owners mom telling me about it while walking my puppy.So I took him to get his nails trimmed and buffed. When I got there there was about 20 dogs running around the grooming salon and a few small ones in crates. And when he was done getting his nails cut she informed me that she accidentally cut one of his nails too short and to keep an eye on it. Maybe if there wasn't 20 dogs running around that wouldn't have happened. Won't be going back.

Awesome people down their we trust them with our baby's are girls play down there all day the get pampered and then they come home for a nice nap

All About Dogs is awesome! I take my beagle there while I am at work, and she loves it!!She is so excited in the morning to go, and she is so tired when she gets home!The staff is always so nice! I am so grateful for them!!

The sign in the window that reads "I dont have time for stupid people" was enough for me to go some place else.
