I can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet! This is one of the coolest basement bars in Omaha. Indeed, I've not seen a better basement bar anywhere else. The staff is cool, both barkeepers and servers. The place is beautifully decorated. Seating is great. The bar is long and well done, plus well-stocked. One of the favorites, for me, is that it's largely hidden. No sign outside, at least last time we were out there. Used to be that the stairs down to it had no indication that it was there either. One just had to know to go to the door and come in. I have several great memories from being there and am actually sorry I've not already reviewed this YEARS ago.

Something different - Alice in Wonderland themed speakeasy! Have been hearing about this place for a while now, so we decided to finally try it out. First, the location of this speakeasy is in West Omaha instead of downtown, which was a nice change of scenery. However, we did not expect it to be that busy! As a group of four, we waited in line for about 30-40 minutes before they had 4 spots open at the bar. It wasn't the most ideal seating arrangement of the night, but I actually enjoyed watching the bartenders work their magic on all the creative drinks. The ambience of the speakeasy was nice - not too quiet, not too loud. The drinks were very aesthetically pleasing and creative - loved reading the creative menu. I got the Saturn which was a gin-based cocktail - highly recommended, it even comes with fire! They also have some very creative and aesthetic mocktails as well.

I have been to Alice a handful of times and it is always such a great experience. The staff is incredible, friendly, conversational, and professional mixologists.I had two of the best espresso martinis in town here. The presentation is worth the cost of the drink alone! They are also now serving THC infused drinks too! They do not offer food, but the legcy chop house upstairs looks like a good place to start.

You need to check this place out in West Omaha, and make sure to wear a sultry and fancy fit, because that is exactly how you will feel walking through these doors. Couches and tables, all with elegant touches of fun decor, and wallpaper of floral bugs was simply a divine ambiance. The mystic continues as you get a large book style menu, each drink carefully and uniquely crafted. The menu has a legend that lets you quickly find some special features, and I would recommend trying a little something unique, just for the fun! Out server, Sonya, was fantastic. They walked us through the menu, recommendations based on our palette and preferences, and consistently ensured that we were well taken care of. I went with a friend, but this would be a very romantic and unique date idea as well! My friend and I wanted to cross mixologist off of our bucket list, and this was a great place to do it! My drink was the Sweater Weather Sipper. While I think there are more fun drinks on the menu, it was delicious and warm both in temperature and in flavor, and generous in the size compared to some other drinks. My friend got the Saturn, which includes a palate enhancer, and I do recommend giving it a try! My friend also tried one of the dessert cocktails, and it included a fun fog bubble effect, and was absolutely delicious. This joint in pricey, which is understandable for the elite mixology used, the thoughtful design, and elegant atmosphere - but it is a memorable experience worth giving some unique drinks a try!

Alice was a true delight. A speakeasy that embodies the feeling of exclusivity, high end, with intentionally well crafted cocktails. The bartenders care about the process and are well versed in their crafts. Alice is ideal for a date, a casual night out, or if you're looking for a unique experience. Be sure to keep the front door closed though.

I don't think their strongest team was behind the bar on the Monday before Thanksgiving...when we asked for descriptions of a few drinks on the menu, she seemed uncertain and resorted to reading select words from the description on the menu. Since we can read, that wasn't super helpful, and my first round ended up being a too-sweet riff on an Old Fashioned (despite me asking and then being assured that it wasn't too sweet). Our second round was much stronger, as we decided not to rely on any bartender suggestions this time. We went with the Velvet Rabbit (mezcal, falernum, Benedictine, lime, egg white) and a pour of the Sweet Grass bourbon. The Velvet Rabbit was equal parts weird and delicious, and not too sweet. It was unlike any drink I've had before, which is quite the accomplishment. Honestly, it was perfection and one of those drinks that I'll remember for quite some time (and hope it's still on the menu next time we're in town for the holidays).Prices have gone up since we were here a few years ago. The Monday before Thanksgiving, we were the only customers in the place when we walked in around 7 pm, but very shortly after we settled in, several large groups came in, so it stopped feeling weird. The bartenders (again, maybe not their strongest crew on a Monday after I'm sure their first-line crew worked the weekend) weren't chatty at all and generally avoided us, even though we intentionally sit at the bar in order to chat with the bartenders, learn more about various liquors and mixers, and find out what's hiding up their sleeves off-menu. We had a great experience with our bartender here last time, but last time was a Saturday, so I'm thinking our mistake was going on a Monday.

Came on a for Friday date night. This speakeasy is one of the easiest to join, literally just need to stand in line to get in. There was a variety of seating and getting our drinks was an experience since one of them was on fire. Good for a date or group get together when we went they let everyone take their time.

A great Omaha secret! It's a lot less secret now, as there is a beautiful sign above the stairwell leading down. There is a guest stand in the hallway before the entrance. We didn't need a code or password to get in. Be prepared for a wait if you go on a weekend night, but it's worth the wait! The vibes are immaculate. The lighting and decor and wonderfully Alice in Wonderland themed. They have a great menu selection with plenty of descriptive options. Some are smoked, firey, THC, or use specialty ice. The firey cocktails are so fun! You can tell the servers and bartenders really like their jobs and put the proper time and care into each drink, even if it's super busy. They also have snacks and mocktails as well.

Loved the speakeasy ambience and Alice in Wonderland theme! Drinks are creative and on the pricier side which is to be expected for a higher-end cocktail bar. The Velvet Rabbit drink was excellent and customer service was top notch as well. This is a great place to stop for pre-dinner drinks in West Omaha. Very limited food menu with just a few snack options, but plenty of parking. I will definitely be back to visit again.

I take all my out of town guests here. The atmosphere is great and the drinks unbelievable. You don't need to stay too long, you pay a good price for premier drinks, but at least stop in for a couple rounds
