Aikido Shuurin Dojo, LLC

My daughter has been going here for about a year. We have experience at a different martial arts school in town and this one is much different. It is very much a community. The school is a unique blend of casual conversations and easy-going relationships coupled with a serious commitment to Aikido. The instructions, moves, and classes are all in Japanese. Testing is a serious business and an in-depth process but you are never testing unless the instructors has told you that you are ready. They also offer seminars and women's self-defense classes. We highly recommend this dojo!

Our son has been taking Aikido at Shuurin Dojo with Sensei Lloyd and Sensei Claudia for the past 4 years and they are FANTASTIC. They keep the kids engaged for the entire class. My son has learned self defense fundamentals while improving confidence and agility. Absolutely love Shuurin Dojo.
