I had went to the same place for years before I started going here. I'm so glad that I decided to come here. So helpful, friendly, and cost aware.

We have chosen Agees automotive for over 10 years for all of our vehicles in the family. They have great customer service, fair prices, and they complete the work on time. I would definitely recommend them.

I must regretfully agree with another reviewer and warn people away from this shop. It's just a roll of the dice.My truck needed work and my brother had used this shop, so I decided to try them. They correctly diagnosed and fixed the original complaint, but afterwards there was a strong driveline vibration. The noise was so unpleasant I almost couldn't stand to drive it over 45.I brought it back and they test-drove it, but they couldn't hear the noise or find a problem. I did some further research and suspected they might have accidentally unbalanced the driveshaft, so I called a third time to ask about that possibility, but they said they had never taken it apart (just lubed it from the outside) and didn't seem happy discussing it any further.I took it to a driveshaft specialist (Dean's Radiator and Driveshaft), who ran the truck on the lift and called me back after locating the problem: He said the driveshaft had recently been marked for removal, but only on one side, so he suspected it was exactly 180 degrees out of time. He rotated it 180 degrees and the noise was gone, proving it had been disassembled originally. Disappointing, to say the least.I wrote Agee's to give them a chance to make it right, but never heard back. My brother had them repair his car window about the same time and it literally fell back inside the door when they ran it. He's had a number of other problems with their work and I really don't know why he uses them, but in fairness he's had some repairs go well, too.I prefer shops with no side business to fall back on (like gas, tires or a parking garage). Shops like that, who live and die by nothing but their reputation fixing cars, always seem to do good work for me. Dean's, Hofker Auto and BG&S Transmission are three great examples, but two of those are specialists and Hofker's is on the opposite side of town, so I sometimes ignore my own advice.Instead, every few years I have to relearn my own lesson that it's better to take the longer drive and/or pay a little more for a shop that consistently does repair work right the first time (and who will own up to mistakes when they understandably happen). I just wish I could remember that better.

We moved to Lincoln five years ago and were looking for a mechanic with which to build a relationship as we have 3 cars that are expensive to repair. We thought we had found it at Agee when they did some work for us and did it very well.Upon returning to them with a small but critical issue, they replaced a part and charged over $250.00. Before I got home with the car, I could see that it still had the same problem. In other words, nothing was fixed. They offered to do more work for another $250, thinking that an entirely different part was required. It would not have taken much to make me happy, i.e., return the partor a small refund. But their only response to the problem was for me to pay them another $250 to see if they could fix it. When I heard their ad on the Christian radio station the next day, we were through doing business with them and plan never to return or recommend them to our friends.

I moved to Lincoln 19 years ago and discovered Agee's Auto and have found that they are honest and only do the work that is necessary. They are not the cheapest but you can be sure that what is done is what is required. You can trust to ask them to tell if more work is necessary and if it s not it not suggested.
