I'm not one to write a lot of reviews but seeing this place not highly rated isn't right. I've been going here for about 7 years and my doctor, his PA, the nurses and all the staff are outstanding. My most positive medical experiences have been through this office.

Avoid like the plague. Saw the doctor for 5 minutes, was told by the doc that my procedure would cost $800-900. I said cool let's do it. Get a letter in the mail a week before the procedure saying that you need to call the surgery center to get the total cost with anesthesia and fees included..... So I call up and they tell me the surgery center fees would be $2400+ on their own, AND that the initial 5 minutes meeting costs $400, all IN ADDITION to the $800 quote, bringing the grand total to ~$3600. I spoke to billing and they basically said "meh it is what it is, tough shit". Dishonest/unethical would be an understatement and their billing managers do not care at all . The doctor will tell you to your face that the procedure is $800 KNOWING that the real cost is 4-5x that much. Thank God I didn't go through with the procedure, if they can't get this right then i don't know why anyone would trust them with their health.

This is a mixed review. The office and staff are terrific, and my Doctor, Dr. Horgan, is fantastic. I highly recommend him. I recently had a procedure with Dr. Andrew Arthur, and he is without question the worst Doctor I have ever encountered. I have worked at a hospital and my wife worked in medicine for decades. He ignored what was planned as the procedure, and proceeded before any anesthetic could be used, despite the urging of myself and the nursing staff. He never checked with us afterwords, though I had serious problems after the procedure. I urge to to seek any other doctor in the office. Dr. Arthur is not professional or capable of adequate care.

So my mom and I both made appointments to see a urologist. We wanted to see a woman, but it was a month out, in hindsight perhaps we should have waited.so they get us in fairly quick within a few days which was nice. When we get there on the day they tell us that our dr has been called away and there was no one we could see. I got upset and they did squeeze us in two hours later with Dr Wakefield. But we had to leave and then come all the way back. Dr Wakefield did not want to do any testing on me other than a cystoscopy which my previous dr did not want to do because he said it could make it worse. I opted out. I have been battling this condition for years. So I went home changed my diet got about fifty percent better. Anxiety makes this condition worse however. I got a jury duty notice, became super anxious, and my bladder symptoms are worse than ever. I asked him if he would please write me a note excusing me. He said that I'm fine to go. I feel this dr has absolutely no compassion for people with overactive bladder and absolutely no clue and is out of touch with reality on how to take care of women with these problems. I would go back to dr Lim in a New York minute if I was in network. On another note some of the women working at the office were either super bitchy or really nice. My nurse navigator Kim wren was absolutely wonderful. She has compassion and a heart something I Would think you would need to work in The medical industry. Dr Wakefield's bed side manner is absolutely lacking, no care in the world for women.

I'm giving 2 stars because the greeting from the receptionist was nice and courteous but after that check in was horrible and very uncomfortable. For one, the receptionist didn't tell me it was going to take an hour to get to see this doctor I have been waiting 2 months to see, 2 months of feeling this could be a wonderful experience because she was recommended. I was eventually called back and here 2 difficult to understand their understanding in what and why the off the wall questions, on top of it all they did ask several times did I feel worse with this bladder after I had hystro. Wth!!! Why would that matter..ugh!! So after that are finish with me, as I'm feeling already uncomfortable and felt they didn't care at all, and didn't want to listen to me. So here the actual doctor came in, she was worse and had the worst bed side manners, didn't care at all and told me pretty much there wasn't nothing wrong with me, sad when I had 2 other doctors say I needed surgery. This pathetic so called doctor had no clue what she was doing and just wam bam thank you mam sort of feeling. So don't go to this horrible person. Mccrery.

Two words to describe this clinic: incompetent and negligent. That is the pattern of behaviors I have observed as a patient over the past 5 years. The staff and medical "professionals" repeatedly have misinterpreted or screwed up my records, billed me incorrectly, failed to communicate amongst themselves OR with me regarding my care, changed my office appointments without notifying me, and treated me with disdain. I have tried multiple times to communicate my concerns with their so-called people in charge, but have been either ignored or told that they are "clearly not the place for you [me]" (direct quote from the Nurse Manager). At no point did they offer any solutions beyond an insincere "sorry" or "you just don't know how hard it is to find good help", as though that is a burden that should be placed on the patient, who is still paying out the ear regardless of treatment quality. It sickens me to think how much time and money I have wasted on these clowns. You might have better luck in a back alley clinic than here.

Be prepared to pay. Showed up to my initial vasectomy consultation only to be told that my appointment was scheduled for the month prior. I explained that that was not possible because I had made the appointment only a few days earlier. The guy at reception still acted like it was my fault and said there was nothing they could do that day. I should have just went home and forgot about this place. Instead I pressed them on it since I'd left work for the appointment and it wasn't my fault they screwed the appointment up. It was the day after the super bowl and the waiting room was completely empty. So after pressing them they magically found time for me. I filled out the new patient form and was taken to a room within minutes. The nurse walked me back, asked a few questions about how many kids I had and if I was sure I was done with making them. Yep! Anyway Dr. Comes in, checks the goods, draws me a picture on a piece of paper of how it works, tells me how often there are issues and what to expect then sends me on my way to schedule. Time with Dr. was less than 10mins. After scheduling i get a call from their billing department telling me since I hadn't met my deductible I'd be paying out of pocket. Overall around $3600 for a 20 minute procedure. Decided to hold off for a while cause I just can't justify paying that much for anything that takes 20 minutes. Here we are a couple month later and I just got done paying a $396 bill for the initial consultation. $396 for me to spend less than 10 minutes with a Dr. No blood draws, labs, or anything else... because "he's a specialist" is what the lady with their billing department told me. I don't have a problem paying for services, I just think the billing should be reasonable. It's not reasonable to charge that much for a very short conversation and whatever minor administrative things go with adding a new patient.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Dr. Mahal helped me with an issue I've been battling for so long. First he listened he is a doctor that really listens to you ( let that sink in for a minute folks) Then he fixed the problem. Like that was not good enough every single member of his staff from the scheduling to the Insurance to the nurses each one doing their job and doing it well and seemingly so happy to be there. I would absolutely without hesitation recommend this place for any urology issue. Debbie

My husband had testing done over 2 months ago and we are still waiting on results. He calls almost daily and has to leave a message for the nurse, with no call back. Would not recommend this office as it is almost impossible to get in touch with them. It has delayed our fertility treatment by months, which is an awful feeling.
