Abraham Catering

We used Abraham Catering for our wedding day and reception (on two separate days), and they were PERFECT! The food was incredible, the service/communication was outstanding, AND it was really nice that you could arrange everything through them (flatware, plates, napkins ... all that). We also LOVED that we could sample food prior to our wedding! It definitely worked well having an actual catering company do our wedding (rather than just a restaurant) because this really is their specialty, and they did an awesome job. Highly recommend!

I used Hap Abraham catering for my wedding reception and I had an overwhelmingly positive experience. If you're planning an event, I highly recommend this vendor!Our first meeting with the folks at Hap was great. We scheduled a tasting about 3 months before the big day to make sure we could find a chicken dish we didn't hate (I can't tell you how many disappointing or utterly inedible chicken dishes I've had at weddings). We met with Ryan and he took us through all the dishes we were tasting and described each one. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. A wedding is a big event and is such a precious day, so having this meeting really set my mind at ease and made me feel that it would run smoothly.The food they provided at our reception was top-notch, as far as wedding food goes. I usually don't have super high expectations for food that is mass-produced, but Hap's dinner surpassed my standards. We had a buffet (my fiance's request) and chose the roast beef and lemon herb chicken. The roast beef was good, pretty tender, and carved right at the buffet table. It could have used more seasoning, but the bordelaise sauce on the side did help. The chicken had this lemon cream sauce that was scrumptious! It wasn't too heavy, but kept the chicken moist from the first guest to the last. It had fresh chopped basil on top which really lightened up the cream sauce. The staff was professional, but my gripe was that after we cut the cake, they laid out a plate for the groom and I at our head table. Since we were the couple getting married, we were obviusly busy that evening. When we came back 30 minutes later, the cake was gone. I had to then go track down a piece. This sounds picky, but I really felt a bit miffed that my cake had been thrown away.

As an experienced event planner who has worked with the staff at Abraham's numerous times, I can attest to their professionalism, talent, promptness, and incredible food! They will go above and beyond to meet and exceed your expectations, help craft your vision, and deliver exceptional results. Their menus are unique, creative, well thought through, and incorporate locally-sourced ingredients which I truly appreciate. I loved working with the staff, and communication with the team at Abraham was always transparent and seamless. Looking forward to working with them again in the future.

I got married a few weeks ago and had Hap Abraham Catering. I knew before I booked that they were a great company but the actual experience with them was beyond outstanding!! I couldn't decide on what dishes I wanted and the staff was quick to offer suggestions and were super responsive with any questions I had. If you're looking for a stress-free planning process and not to mention, AMAZING food, go with Hap Abraham Catering! i cannot thank you guys enough for helping to make my day so perfect!!

We live in DC but got married in Omaha. Abraham catering was so easy to work with and we would not have had as amazing of a wedding without them. The food was fantastic. The price was fantastic and Diane and Ann were simply the most wonderful and responsive people ever. Thank you so much for making our wedding even more special. It means the world to us.

This catering company is fantastic. They catered birthdays and anniversaries for our family and today they catered my mothers funeral. With less than 24 hours notice. That is right, I called them yesterday and Diane dropped everything to provide lunch for 70 people today. The food was delicious and ample and Margaret and Betsy were phenomenal. I highly recommend Abrahams for any type of catering! They are the very best in Omaha.

Daughters Wedding reception was catered by Abraham and it was beyond excellent. Sit down dinner for 200! They are above and beyond amazing!

I just had my wedding last weekend using Abraham Catering. Not only were they so easy to plan with, but their staff is INSANELY friendly! The servers and bartenders were the sweetest most accommodating people ever. The event coordinator that worked with me, Kara was amazing. Another person I worked with, Chad was also great! She was responsive to my questions, and made everything exactly how I wanted it on my special day. On top of all of this the food was SOOOO good. Highly recommend the beef bourguignon and Chicken marsala. 1316 Jones street was an awesome venue. I can't imagine planning a wedding with anyone else.

Just bad bad management. All around terrible. They make people that rent their spaces clean up after other parties! What!? Yea that's is what we pay for. Consistently dirty venue and bad customer service. I don't not recommend using this company.

I planned our wedding in Omaha from Oregon via email communication and I cannot begin to tell you how seamless Chad and everyone at Abraham Catering made it for me to plan the wedding from afar.Married a few weeks ago, I still cannot get over how perfect our venue, food and services were. We had a wonderful experience with everyone we encountered at Abraham Catering. From the interactions through email and in person with Chad at 1316Jones to the spectacular food, we had an A+ experience. They are super easy to work with and exceeded our expectations on all levels. They really made the night come together and made sure our special day was everything it should be.
