On a night when cooking is just not in the cards, Abelardo's saves the night. Never had a bad meal here and the staff is always welcoming and friendly. Try their "sauce bar"! Seems to always be made fresh as it tastes a little different every time we come here.Definitely fast food without the feel of being rushed. The restaurant is always clean and well taken care off.We made this place a staple for taco Tuesdays and any other night we want lots of food that tastes great.

Carne asada nachos are ginormous! Piled high you get layers of chips, beans, steak, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and tomatoes with extra hot side on the side ...red and green..(it's hard to decide..they are both yummy!)This is a feast made to share that's for sure!...Drive thru is always easy access and fast...customer service is great..bilingual is a plus ...corner lot easy to get to

Normally I don't have any issues with Abelardo's at this location, but last time ordered from here, let's just say my food was "screwed" up.As I was picking up a fork-ful of fries, a screw fell out. Thankfully I did not bite into it as i definitely could have chipped a tooth.Like I said, I normally don't have any issues at this location, but unfortunately this is deterring me from coming here for a while.

Decent food with great quantities but lacking in the flavor department. This is the type of place you go to after a night out or if you're craving Mexican food later in the day and nothing else is open besides Taco Bell and you find the drive to 24th street no worth it.Their asada and chorizo plates are really good, but most of my friends love their loaded fries. Burritos are pretty good and tacos are okay. I wouldn't recommend their Al Pastor. Their drinks are pretty good and I usually get the horchata. Service is relatively quick, but I've only ever been through their drive-thru.

Abelardo's is a decent Mexican/Tex-Mex restaurant chain that has a lot of locations here in Omaha. Decided to try out the Bellevue location on Avery Rd which used to be a Taco John's a long while back. I got 2 carne asada tacos with some beans & rice as well as a tostada. I'm happy to say that everything turned out to be satisfactory. Tostada was crispy & bore lots of great flavors. Beans and rice are good, and the carne asada tacos were definitely a good eat; I like how they're covered in a layer of guacamole sauce, which also goes good with the carne asada tortas that they have here. This Abelardo's location is a pretty good one so I definitely recommend it.

Abelardo's sure satisfies my late night cravings! I often drive by abelardos on my way home from work and I almost always have to stop by. I often come by this location and all i can say is that there is quick service and the employees are great with their recommendations!

This is my first review I've ever written and I'm not the one to type of review but I've about had it with this place. I order "a steak burrito with just steak and nothing else" everytime I come to this establishment. And 4 times in a row they have given me everything but my burrito. I've gotten a breakfast burrito before, a chicken spicy burrito before, etc. I understand when it's busy that you may mix up orders but when I'm the only one in line and you seem to mix up my one order of just steak and tortilla burrito it get kinda ridiculous. Then I proceed to drive back and ask for my right burrito and I am greeted with a very rude cashier. She proceeded to say "so do you want your money back or what do you want me to do" after I told her that this hasn't been the first time. I asked for a manager and she turn around proceeded to not speak in English then turned and said "yeah he left you can speak with him tomorrow morning at 9 am if you'd like" thank for the advice! Would not recommend at all.
