They were SO NICE! I drove to the first place I saw with power..(from Bellevue) I sat next to an outlet in a cozy booth and they let me stay as long as I needed! The staff was welcoming..I asked for a cup for water..they gave me one with a SMILE...The colors and decor was so beautiful..uplifting and bright! And then the food..GOODNESS...chicken enchiladas filled with lots of moist chicken and topped with lots of CHEESE ..lettuce salad on the side ..were spot on.. then their help yourself red hot sauce, salsa verde, green chile,, jalapeños, mild sauces, pickled onions...so many to choose from!!! Loved it! We will definitely be back!

I'll admit, I was skeptical of this place with it being a fast food Mexican spot. However, it didn't disappoint in the food flavor! We got the chicken enchiladas and supreme nachos, and the chicken was really good. You could tell they put time into making their chicken tender and flavorful, which can't be said for most fast food Mexican spots. Or even most Mexican spots for that matter. The nachos were tasty as well! They had a good mixture of cheese, meat and other ingredients. Service was subpar though. It didn't seem like the employees wanted to be there and didn't have a great customer service attitude.

Favorite location. Super clean and consistent with the food quality! Carne Asada Super Fries is a must! If you're going on a Tuesday, fried chicken tacos! Their horchata is also great! Street tacos: carne asada/steak or carnitas! Pro Tip: a half size of the super fries is already super filling! If you're sharing get the full size!

We stop here at times to get our Abelardo's fill lol. This is a great location with friendly staff. The portions are always plenty as well. Last time they forgot a couple things on our drive through order. We came back to let them know and, just as expected, they took care of us right away and corrected it with a smile. Love that kind of service. We. Will continue to use this location when we are in the area.

Let me just keep this short and sweet!! GO!!! Go here asap and eat!! This place never lets me down no matter what I order!!! Fast, fresh and sooo GOOD!!! The new menu items are bomb & a MUST try!! My boys get the taki burrito which seems to only be at this specific location however it's so good trust me, especially if you enjoy spicy! They have a new menu item called the Texas bowl, omg drool lol it's so good! I should have taken pics but we ate it to fast!!!

5 visits, 0 times have I left with a correct order. Very nice people but very inconsistent. Food can be good but 1 TBSP of meat for the size of shell, I don't care what the special, taco Tuesday or not that's crazy. NOT with worth it. Plan to wait 30 + minutes on taco Tuesday Not, maybe longer, line goes out to 72nd street which creates a huge traffic jam and makes it impossible to pull out since you can only go right, then add wait time to your visit bc you're stuck back in the drive thru longer just trying to just leave the plaza

When I first moved here a couple years ago from California, it took me a long time to find a good Mexican food restaurant that came close to back home, and I was happy when I found this Abelardos. However, I've noticed recently that the burritos are getting smaller, and smaller, and smaller. I used to have to hold it with two hands, now it's just slightly bigger than my thumb and index finger. I understand inflation and the cost of ingredients, but maybe just slightly increase the cost of the burritos, I'd happily pay a little more and have a satisfying than have it keep gradually shrinking over time for the same price :/

Gave 2 stars because up until they were really bad, they are really good! The food is always awesome I'll continue to eat there. Reasonably priced as well. Just obviously not very organized and prepared to do the business they advertise. You need people you can count on. They're simply not reliable. Can't imagine how they would be when they are owed money, but they suck bad when they have yours! MOD's (managers on duty) apparently have ZERO authority to do anything but make phone call after phone call when they drop the ball! Actually don't know how many calls were made, it's just what I was told. Anyway, stick to ordering inside or the drive thru! Calling ahead, even though they claim to prefer it, is again, VERY UNRELIABLE!

ABELARDO'S!!!!! you did your thing!Service was Amazing (you don't see that as much now) very attentive staff. Amazing salsa bar - so much to choose from. Hot, mild, medium, to an explosion of flavors Not just heat. guacamole salsa was personal favorite. environment is very clean, bathrooms were spotless. I'm from Southern California Moved to Omaha looking for a taco shop. Came across Abelardo's and tried their rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese (PERFECTION) So much flavor, just like back home. overall 10/10
