The food is good, but service in the drive thru window was horrible. We ordered 2 things then took 5 seconds to decide what else to get. The lady was repeating "ANYTHING ELSE" every 3 seconds very rudely. She was eventually screaming it impatiently. We came 3/3/25 at 6:21pm. I will never be coming back to this location.

This is an unfortunate update. After months of going back-and-forth, the manager of the Abelardo's in Twin Creek refused to address the issues brought to her attention. They were also brought to the attention of corporate via Messages on Instagram. Rubi was given the videos and offered me gift cards multiple times. I refused reiterating every time that I want her to fix the issues, I don't want free food. Instead of fixing the issues, after saying she would because she takes her job seriously, she had a door built to hide what's happening in the kitchen. Multiple times we have gone through the drive-through and been sitting at the window waiting for our order and we witnessed disgusting behavior happening in the kitchen. For example, workers using bare hands to grab fresh ingredients like shredded cheese, lettuce, etc. to add to our food. Hands that have taken out the trash and put the trash bag on the serving counter to tie the bag up. Hands that brush ingredients left on the serving counter in front of those bins back into the bins. Hands that have been looking at their phone, etc. if you go to the restaurant now, you will notice that there is a swinging door installed between the cashier and the kitchen, blocking the view of anything that is happening. I asked repeatedly just to retrain your people to wear gloves and to change their gloves when they do other cleaning activities. Inside my enchilada, a hair. After months of back-and-forth, I have no choice, but to leave this warning for others. If you're getting sick, maybe report it to the health department. Because they obviously don't care.

Not fully a fan anymore, this place is overpriced, the service is subpar. The food quality is decent but they always mess up my order which is a waste of gas anytime I notice. I haven't been here in months because I got tired of the same thing happening over & over. Nebraska overall just has terrible Mexican food.

The food itself is good but the service needs a lot of work. I have now gone 3 times through drive through (in hopes that it has improved) and all three times my order is incorrect. Mind you it's not busy at all when I go. Maybe one other client if at that. All three times i've ordered the same thing. Chorizo and egg burrito with no potato's and add beans. At first I let it slide, figured it just opened, new staff so and so, (they forgot to remove potato's and add beans). The second time again forgot the beans no big deal. However, this is my third visit and again my order was wrong. This time I got home and received a ham and egg burrito (not even the beans were added). I did call and tell them about it, but honestly doesn't seem like it mattered to them. Not a good way to start out at this location.

A relatively new place in the Twincreek Shopping area and a most welcome addition. The restaurant is fresh and clean with a large selection of Mexican fresh made food. Quite a few specials to choose from. During my two visits, I've had the street tacos and the fish tacos. Both were very fresh and tasty. Free chips and salsa to go along with your meal. Four or five different salsas to choose from and several of them have some god heat. Also a good selection of Mexican bottled soda with a variety of flavors. Prices are very good and the specials are even better. Tuesday is Taco Tuesday and you can get 5 tacos for $6.99Drive through is also open for your business. A really good place to pick up a quick fresh bite. Definitely worth a visit.

If you love eating a wet quesadillaThis place is perfect for you. don't know what it taste like, I'm scared to eat a wet quesadilla. Uhm. also the lady can't hear properly. She must need a raise to afford hearing aids.

My wife and I ate here today (7/9/24). It is "Taco Tuesday", so my wife ordered the buy 5 for approximately $6 deal, deep fat fried. They were delicious. She was able to eat 3, and took 2 home. Her food was served hot. However, my combination plate of one tamale (served outside of it's corn husk, which I thought was weird), one cheese enchilada, refried beans and rice, although delicious, was served barely warm (and cold in the middle). I couldn't finish it as a result. So, I took it home and nuked it to the correct temperature. 3 stars, for what would have been 5, had my food been served hot.
