Where my plumber had to correct because they cut the holes wrong and bent my copper lines
Deep scratches in my vanity that I had to fight with them to correct
Scratched and banged up
Poor craftsmanship and quality leads to cracking
Large gaps in seams
Uneven door placement.
Uneven handle placement.
Long scratch
Beat up crown moulding.
Scratch
Screw not countersunk leading to splintering and poor connections
Seam of countertops planned to be over dishwasher...terrible idea
Inside my top drawer!!!! Can't wait to look at this for the next 30 years.

Terrible! Stay far away!If you want nothing but headaches, go with A1.First off, they brought me out a scratched up vanity and I had to fight with them to change it. They just tried to rub mineral oil on the deep scratches. While they were installing my vanity, they completely bent my copper lines because they cut the holes wrong. They also told me it's how they always do it. Plumb means straight- not bent. I had to get a plumber out to fix and they couldn't believe that they would bend my pipes. Now I have another large chunk taken out of the bottom of the vanity where my plumber had to cut to correct the bent lines. Second, apparently my slab broke in fabrication so I had to go back and pick out another one so that wasn't ideal when I liked my first one better. They are also terrible at communicating, and showing up. My top part of the vanity was apparently backed ordered but no one told me until it didn't show up with the rest and I had to call. They claimed they told my sales associate (that wasn't me). They would show up days or hours after I scheduled them to show up. I would email or call and ask for updates and they wouldn't return my calls or emails. Terrible company with issues throughout the entire process. Stay far away.

DO NOT USE this company. I dealt with multiple companies throughout the entire remodel of my kitchen, but A-1 was the only one to leave me high and dry with low quality work and poor communication. Months after the project, I am still regretting my decision to have worked with A1.I used A-1 for the cabinets and countertops in my kitchen. While their bid was lower than big box stores, I quickly found out why. They cut corners by using inferior products and subcontracting out the install to novice installers. When confronted with the poor work, they first will blame the installer ("we subcontract out, they don't work for us"), then try to ignore calls/texts, and lastly offer a few hundred dollars to keep poor reviews off Google/yelp.With the cabinets, the product of the finish was low quality as evidenced by being easily chipped, and seams separating within weeks. With the install, the installer left a 3/4" gap around the sink apron after A-1 promised this would be taken care of (my contractor had to fix it at cost to me). They also had no plan for supporting my farmhouse sink except for the cabinet itself, which was absurdly insufficient (my contractor had to fix at cost to me). The installer also didn't countersink any screws or use washers, leading to loose connections between cabinets and sharp wood splinters being exposed around screws. Not what you want to see after paying a company over $6k. The doors of the sink cabinets also were the wrong size and never installed...I had to end up physically driving to A-1 over 3 weeks after the install to pick up the new doors and have my contractor install them (at cost to me). With the countertops, I can't even begin to describe the mess. First, they measured the new countertop space with just a tape measure (no templating at all). This poor measuring led to the the countertops being so far off that they cut 10 feet of dry wall out of my newly installed drywall to push the countertops 1 inch into my wall. They tried to put the countertop seam over the dishwasher, which is highly recommended against by any reputable countertop company (heat/moisture of a dishwasher cause seams to break). They tried to buy me off by promising a 5 year guarantee, but I ended up demanding they remove the cabinets and leave. I used a new company, who templated properly and had no issues...this new company also laughed when told that the previous company put the seam over the dishwasher. After all these issues, I asked that they are least cover the cost of the repairs required for their poor work...they gave me 50% of what I asked for, and honestly I felt happy to escape their building with that. I was left with poor work, a poor product, and months behind timeline on my kitchen due to their poor work.

we have a large kitchen and Joann and Tina were great to work with. Had granite countertops and backsplash and very pleased with process. Installers were very polite and worked very hard to complete project. came back two days and worked into the evening to get finished and make sure job met our approval. A1 was recommended by our neighbor who was a realtor and used them alot.

This is how A1 left my kitchen cabinets after 4 return visits to correct previous issues, and it was considered 'done'. Scuffs, holes, scratches, split drill holes, ill-fitting and beat up crown molding everywhere. Inside of the drawers looks like a bomb went off. Our contractor voiced his and our concerns onto them, so they sent the same guy (John) that installed it back out to look at it! Is he the best they have then? Sweet Jesus I hope not. I had to point out all of the errors and he left without stating what was going to be done or when he would be back. He was here less than 5 minutes and was literally backing out the door so fast I barely got to show him everything. Phone calls and messages with no responses. So far we have paid 1/2 the bill and do not know when it will be done. Cannot install appliances until all of this cabinetry is cleaned up. Whoever they subcontract out to do this truly does not give a shit about craftsmanship. Tomorrow starts week 3 of this drama. Besides not having a kitchen to use, we have been forced to eat out almost daily as there is only so much food you can prepare in a microwave. This exposes us to unnecessary Covid risks and financial expense. Hoping for a call back tomorrow morning from someone there who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and customer service, with a plan and timeframe for making this right.

Geez, it is probably a good thing I didn't look at Yelp before we ordered countertops with A1! A1 was recommended by someone in the building business. We were looking for a remnant for our master bath remodel. One thing I liked about A1 is all the remnants were a the same price, there wasn't variability based upon what you chose. All of their stones - remnant and slabs are in one open air warehouse. Navigating was a bit tricky - some remnants were stacked with similar slabs, but then there was a totally separate remnant section as well, but the pieces were so stacked together you couldn't really get a feel for the overall look of the pieces. There were also forklifts moving throughout which made me a little uneasy - note DO NOT BRING KIDS. At the end of the day, we found a piece for about $300 less than a competitor. Within a few days of selecting a stone, measurement was taken (no issues with those being incorrect) and about 2 weeks later everything was satisfactorily installed. The crew was great about clean-up as well - took the time to sweep our driveway where some cutting had been done.

My brother-in-law recommended A1 to us. We had a horrible salesperson (who is no longer with the company), so honestly I don't know why we even went with them. Install day - wrong cut out for the sink, so we had to have a different crew out. No biggie, except they did zero clean up and left tools at our house. We weren't happy with how the granite met up with the wall, so we would not pay until it was fixed. We got a letter saying we were going to be turned in to collections, so I called again to explain we were waiting until it was fixed. The lady I talked to was extremely rude. She claims they called us and left messages. She said they had documentation of the days/times. I asked her for them so I could contact my cell phone company to show her I never got them. She refused to give me the days. I was called a liar. I asked for her name, and she refused to give it to me. I asked for the owner's name and number. She refused to give it to me. I asked for her name again, and she hung up on me. I called back and left a message with whoever answered to have the owner call me. They were apologetic and sent someone out that day to see what our complaint was about. The guy used epoxy and a sharpie to fix it. He blamed it on the drywall, even though we were told it should have been templated to the wall. We flat out told him, and the owner, we were not happy with it. They deducted some, but not enough to make up for a crappy job. We talked with a couple contractors who agreed it was shitty work, but said we would have to hire a lawyer to get anything done. A lot of money spent to be not happy with it. Long review, but I cannot say enough what a HORRIBLE experience we had.

I would love to share a positive experience but sadly, my kitchen remodel was riddled with long delays, poor craftsmanship and terrible service and communication. I was originally told there was an 'order issue' with my countertops just 3 days before they should have been installed. This news was delivered via email and none of my three phone calls requesting additional information were returned. When it came to the backsplash install, the craftsmanship was extremely poor resulting in a rip out and do-over. The tile had to be reordered 3 times. Again, with an extreme lack of communication. The project which should have been completed mid-August, was not completed until mid to late October. I dealt with several companies and contractors during my home renovation and this was the only business who failed to provide the service and quality that was promised and expected.

Zero stars. Terrible experience. Cabinet and granite not ready when promised. Then when it was "ready", they tried to give us 2 pieces to screw together for the cabinet...what? When the cabinet we ordered didn't come in the size we ordered, they should have known that, or at least told us that when the manufacturer told them when they ordered it - not wait to see if we'd notice out on the back dock when we came to pick up. Also, we didn't think that "ready" meant they still had to finish the granite! The sales person WILL NOT call you back, no matter how many messages you leave with the receptionist. Thankfully they refunded our money, but not without stating they don't know how this happened...I find that extremely hard to believe. That being said, if you have the time and patience to screw around with multiple problems, they do have decent prices on their countertops - but beware, after they take your 75% deposit, their customer service is pretty much non-existent.

I have been working with A1 Kitchen and Bath for new counters throughout our home and could not be happier! ... from the ability to view in person the actual slabs that were available, to the exacting laser measurements by Wayne Zhang on some very awkward angles at the basement bar area + a very difficult support pole that had to be wrapped with granite counter, to the installation team led by Shio (?) - the finished counters are beautiful! The company team was prompt - measurement dates were set at the time of purchase, and installation dates happened within one week of measurement, and when follow-up was needed - the team was back out within the week! I would highly recommend A1 Kitchen and Bath for new counter surfaces!!!
