A Shear Thing

As a female, one of the biggest concerns when moving away from your usual hair stylist is wondering if the places around you are any good. I was recommended to try A Shear Thing from a friend who lives in Omaha and after her GLOWING review I knew I needed to give it a shot. The studio was so clean and organized with some fun, trendy music playing. I loved the various appointment options of you need a longer cut time or a shorter one, or maybe a dye touch up she's got the options for ya. I personally saw Sharon and let me tell you, this woman is SO SWEET!!! I'm usually not one to talk much during a haircut but I talked almost the whole time. It was probably the most efficient wash and top I've had in my whole life. The whole process of shampoo, dry, and trim took a total of 30 minutes!! I felt so welcomed in this new space, I can definitely see myself going back!

I had an amazing time with Courtney so sweet and gentle when washing and brushing my frizzy hair! I was extremely nervous because of a bad experience with short hair but she told me what she was doing and when and why. It really made for a way more relaxing experience for me. The shop is so cute and bright and clean. She cut a good amount off but it turned out beautifully and I'm so glad I decided to go and chop my hair off!

I got the most amazing hair cut and color I've had in my life. I'm 50, so that's saying something. I got a ton of compliments. I think the beautician was Stephanie, but I'm not sure. She was so friendly and nice. And the price is great also. Can't wait to go back!@@

I've been getting my haircut at Shear Thing for many years (10+). Laurie is awesome! As a guy, I can't speak for any of the interesting services they offer for women -- no waxing for me, for example :) But, judging from the fact that they always seem to be busy, if you are a woman, I suspect you will be pleased with the quality of their services, too.

I had a great cut with Sharon, the owner. She was polite, pleasant, and attentive to detail. She really put a lot of focus into my haircut and was very careful that it was even and high quality. The salon floor was well-light and had an airy, classy appearance. Great place! I signed up for my next cut!
