Small stations, close to our breakfast spot. Card readers aren't working. :/$3.20/gallon. We topped off the tank.

A B's is a great gas station/convenience store and I'm so thankful they're located in the heart of Dundee, just blocks from our house. Whether we need to pick up some last minute dessert (like homemade cookies and a bottle of wine) or grab some coffees the next morning, A B's is always there to provide friendly customer service and whatever items you may need to stop in for!

This place is the heart of the Dundee neighborhood in a lot of ways. For one it's always busy, 6 a.m. till close (midnight on weekdays, 1 a.m. on Friday/Saturday and 10 p.m. on Sunday). Second, they have a surprisingly vast wine and beer selection, no doubt catering to the demands of those who live and hang out in the neighborhood. Third, the clerks are for the most part friendly and are the type that get to know their customers on a first name basis over time. The downfalls? Well, compared to the quaint, historic charm of most of the surrounding buildings, A.B.'s definitely looks like it'd be a better fit for a busy suburban intersection. Also, as you expect with most non-chain convenience stores, a lot of the items are a little pricey. Still, I can understand and ultimately forgive A.B.'s, as it's in a prime location. Here's where it loses a star: As someone who's been going here for around 10 years now, what I've always longed for is some decent hot food. They have (gross) hot dogs and that's it. Why not some pizza slices or some hot sandwiches like Casey's or Cubby's? I've gone into this place hungry looking for a snack far too many times and left empty-handed.

One of the good ones. Wine racks, which are weird but not impossible to walk around, they just add time to my run involving the coolers in the back. But I persist, I capture, I pivot and I begin the "home stretch." Noble castle where my king lies waiting. This denouement involves the typical elements of a hero's journey: a matronly cashier, always friendly, even loving; authoritative fatherly co-cashier, protective and reliable. Triumphant fanfare as the door opens and the bells sound. The coins rattle in my pouch. The run is ending, the treasure mine. The hero returns different, yet the same. Thank you, Abe. See you tomorrow.

Great place to fill up your vehicle. Located conveniently in downtown Dundee, you are also close by many great restaurants. There is a First National Bank ATM inside as well.Clean with a great selection of wine. My kids favorite: they hand out tootsie rolls or licorice to the kids!

Great convenience store and gas station smack dab in the middle of the Dundee commercial district. Both the lot and the store itself are impeccably clean, the prices of all they offer are reasonable, and the staff members behind the counter are competent, friendly, and at times, pretty entertaining. :)

I buy gas here, but do you know what I buy here more than gas has a very similar chemical composition: alcohol. A.B. stands for always boozing, I think, because this is the only gas station I've ever been in where you can buy Frito Lay Bean Dip and Ridge Zinfandel in the same trip. Or a case of Pabst. Whatever you want.

I am loyal to this gas station because of the location and the memory of owner, Abe. This station always has premium gas. Inside is a good selection of food for a quick bite now or to take home for snacking. This is a neighborhood place filled with neighborhood people. I just like this place.

I stopped by this gas station this evening to purchase 6 bags of ice to donate. A community group was feeding people in Benson Park that lost power in their homes due to the historic storm that occurred in Omaha. There was a nice lady behind the counter that offered to donate all 6 bags. I told her that l will at least pay for 2 bags. I want to thank this gas station for their generosity, because the ice was very much needed.

I bought a lottery ticket at 6:05 pm Thursday. The attendant did not say a word, just grabbed the lottery form from me, no "thank you" or "you're welcome", not a word - with a scowl on her face. I will do no more business there during her shift.
