A & G Steakhouse

On the recommendation of a friend, we tried A and G Steakhouse for a late lunch on a Friday in early June. After visiting a few shops in downtown Falls City we easily located A&G and were greeted, seated and served within 10 minutes of sitting down. Talk about service--this small town hot spot knows what they are doing. Although "steakhouse" is in the name, we both ordered sandwiches for our midday meal. My $8.99 hand breaded tenderloin was severely overlapping the bun and came with chips. Thick and juicy, the A&G tenderloin will not be mistaken for the thin frozen variety served at your local fast food establishment. My husband's $6.99 hamburger was 5 oz and included lettuce and filled him up. It wasn't the juiciest burger and didn't make his top five, but he is a burger connoisseur. Chips were the fresh prepackaged variety. The Friday special was a prime rib sandwich for $12.99 which included a potato option. It looked good! Some of my favorite meals have come on the recommendation of friends. Thanks Gail for steering us to A&G!

This is a must visit when I visit my hometown. A & G has been in business for years. It is a nice small town family restaurant with a full menu. One of my favorite items is their taco salad. I have been there when they had a pizza buffet and even had their delicious breadsticks. When visiting my hometown I love going there for a delicious meal and to see many friends that I have not seen for years. If driving through Falls City, Nebraska please drive down Stone Street and look for A & G Steakhouse for an amazing lunch/dinner.

Well I've been going th this place for years. The food is always good. It's like every restaurant, they may have a bad day but its rare. I think that its dumb that the waist staff have to serve your salads though. They do have a very excellent prime rib!

Basic little local place. Had a great steak, nice salad and a beer. Service was friendly and really efficient. Very reasonably priced as well.

Well what can I say. Except laziness and Snarkiness.....I mean how hard is it to mess up a chicken sandwich they seem to forgotten the cheese the condiment oh and basic flavor. I recommend if you eat here choose your item wisely!!! I gave it two stars because the french fries are pretty good...

Great food at fair prices and with a smile. Home Style Food plus great salads and pizza. Specials every day I think and when the soup and salad bar is open it is great! Go here every time we are in Falls City.

Home of the super salad -- aka a ginormous salad in a delicious bread bowl! Everything else on their vast menu is delicious as well. Costas and his staff are friendly and speedy. A must stop when you're in downtown Falls City!

Love A&G. Their food is always amazing. Something for everyone. The Super Salad is so delicious you will want to come back for more!Great atmosphere and family owned.

Came to the area for work from Wisconsin. Was looking for a place to take my GF we decided to try it out. Great service, and wonderful food! If I even have to come back will be going here again.

We always recommend A&G when anyone asks for a good place to eat in Falls City. We have never been disappointed.
