804 Main Bar & Grill

Packed bar/restaurant. Even more on a St Patties day celebration. The staff did everything in their power to make everyone happy. Lots of smiles and loud celebrations happening. Still family friendly for the food. We had egg rolls for the holiday. A really big burger and fry plate. Ragin Cagin place with even a bigger sandwich and fries. Great town and great bar for the town. All the locals know that this is a great stop. A little something for everyone.

I stopped in to just grab some wings and have a beer while I waited for my to go order. The service seems to have improved from previous visits. Both bartenders I interacted with were efficient, helpful and very polite. The wings were very good. I appreciated the fact that I could get two flavors with one order. They even took the time to make sure the flavors were kept separate from each other which I saw as extra care for customer service. I'll definitely get wings again. It is your typical small town corner bar so the ambiance matches that.

We walked in after the downpours shortly after 600 pm on Friday evening. It's seat yourself. Typical bar with some restaurant seating. The bar, a mix of high tops, low tables, and a few booths. The menu is loaded with sandwiches, burgers, and apps. Our server was a sweetheart. I think her name was Rita, but I might be mistaken. Never saw her without a smile on her face. Along with the other basic sides they offer crinkle cut fries, curly fries, or waffle fries. Sounds simple...but I appreciate the choice. Service was a little slow tonight, but the place was busy and there were only two servers working as far as I could tell. Besides a quick greeting when we walked in, we got menus right away, and our drinks orders were taken and delivered fast. Our server checked in with us several times so we knew we hadn't been forgotten about.I ordered the rajun cajun sandwich ($10.50?). A 6 oz. grilled tenderloin with cajun seasoning, pepperjack cheese, and bacon. A sourdough bun I think... It normally comes with lettuce and tomato, but I passed on the veggie toppings tonight. And crinkle cut fries of course...It was my first time at 804 Main and I was pleasantly surprised. My food was very good. The burgers I saw looked fantastic; they have one called the 804 Alarm with a Carolina Reaper sauce... Everyone at our table enjoyed their food. Lots of TVs if you don't want to miss a game. And like I said...the attentiveness of our server made any delay in our food arriving (on an obviously busy Friday night) easily forgivable. Great staff can make or break a visit when there are hiccups. I will definitely not hesitate to stop in again.

This is a great bar for a town the size of Norwalk! Be warned though there are times when it is packed. They serve typical bar food, but the big difference is IT'S GOOD! I love the ginormous tenderloin! And if you like bacon on or IN your burger this is the to be! And I have to mention the homemade egg rolls! Delicious!

Awesome place to eat and awesome people. It's the best bar and grill in Norwalk. Never ever had bad food, and they have a little bit of everything.

804 Main has great hamburgers. Food is good as well as great drinks from the bar. Food is prompt and service is friendly. They make you feel welcomed.

Burger served on toast, not bun. Burger had zero flavor and was cold. The bread had a chemical odor and odd flavor. Definitely will not eat there again.

Great food. Tylor the cook has made several new food items & they taste amazing. Egg Rolls with brisket Mac n cheese are too die for.

Drove from downtown Des Moines to give this a try and it didn't disappoint. We ordered the egg rolls with ham and cheese and pork tenderloin. Was terrific and the service was great. Very friendly and very quick service.
