I had this at a wedding as it was catered in, and wow is it great ice cream!! I can't recommend it enough. The Tiger Stripes was my favorite, and Oreo a close second.The 2 guys manning their station did a great job--very friendly and fast with the long line!I would absolutely go back to their store, and consider them for a catering event if I had one in Lincoln!!

The 402 creamery in the telephone district in Lincoln Nebraska is a fine place to make a bad decision. If you care about ambience inside the ice cream shop this is not the place for you (you want Ivanna Cone), however if what you care about is tasty ice cream, and inventive flavors then this is likely Lincoln's best option. Additionally, if you're rolling in with a group of six to 16 people and don't mind sitting outside, then they have plenty of seating as well as parking for your large group to get together and eat cold sweetened fat. Personally, I like two flavors. I get a half scoop of each, 1) dark chocolate; and 2) blueberries and lemon cake. They offer a sliver of waffle cone with your dish of ice cream. The experience is largely unchanged with or without the added waffle cone triangle. The service is just fine, when I've gone the servers look to be mostly high school age women working a summer job.

The quality, taste, unique flavors, and price is great! They have seasonal flavors and reindeer chow is the best! I believe there's 3 locations in town so make sure you make your way to one! They sell pints which is nice to bring home!

My all time favorite ice cream spot! I discovered this place when my freshman year of college and have been back almost every single month for the new flavors! Staff is so friendly and their ice creams are delicious! They make all their ice cream themselves with quality ingredients. There is not a whole lot of seating indoors as it is a small space but grab your ice cream and take a stroll as you enjoy it!

I am not much of an Ice Cream person however this location truly knows how to make them. The ice creams were creamy and full of flavor. Every bite was just so unique that it played hop scotch with my taste buds. The waffle cones were not as appetizing but the ice cream more than makes up for it. Definitely must try and if possible try the unique special flavors they would normally have on the menu, you will not regret it. Service was okay, students were working and they seemed occupied with their phones and they were not very friendly. But you know what, the ice cream was epic.

We had ice cream and waffle cone, and a dairy free flavor too. Everything was decent, but didn't seem to have much flavor for us. Staff was very friendly and service was excellent. The place was busy and has great reviews, but the ice cream just didn't work for us. We don't really plan on going back.

I don't know how we haven't been here before. We've had friends tell us about this ice cream shop and we finally found our way in yesterday and it's was incredible! I had a split scoop on a waffle cone of a peanut brittle (I think, maybe almond brittle) and s'mores. For the s'mores they even drizzle on melted marshmallow and burn it with a small torch, it's a really fun extra a touch. My wife got the monster cookie and she said it was great. They have very generous portions and the staff were very kind! They was a group on seemingly blind people in front of us and the staff were so incredibly patient and helpful with the entire group! It has a great small town ice cream shop vibe and is in a perfect location! You're going to want to check this place out! It was so good I forgot to take a picture before we started digging in!

Just excellent, everything you'd want from an ice cream place. Enthusiastic staff, delicious ice cream (though I recommend the basic flavors more than the special seasonal concoctions, but that's my own preference).I had the monster cookie in a waffle cone and it was magnificent. Single scoop is plenty. We took ours to go but the atmosphere seemed fun and welcoming. Also it's right next to my favorite coffee place in town, The Mill, so if you're planning a perfect date, I highly recommend a double-feature, ice cream and coffee.
