14 Karat

This was the 2nd stop to get ideas for modifying my ring. Compared to the last jewelry store, the security seemed more obvious when you are buzzed into the store from the outside. Long story short, my ring was dropped off for further investigation to add new stones and replace the current ones. The timeline was provided and the cost will be determined at that time. I made more progress here than the last jeweler.

Designing a ring with Alyssa and working with 14 karat was an incredible experience. We gave Alyssa 3 diamond and emerald earrings and my original wedding stone to design a custom piece for our 25th anniversary. She created a design that was completely my personality! She was honest and fair and so creative. My new ring is beautiful and I am so in love! I have referred individuals to 14k for years. Alyssa and 14k never let us down.

Oh my gosh! I cannot recommend Alyssa at 14 Karat enough. She listened to everything we wanted, listened to our budget, and worked with us every step of the way. I cannot believe that she made this ring, custom for me, and I get to wear it for the rest of my life!! If you want someone who is so supportive and sweet and will work with you & listen to everything you want, make the trip over to 14 Karat! I will 100% be going back and asking Alyssa to make more jewelry for me. She is seriously a professional and amazing at what she does!

We cannot say enough good things about our experience at 14 Karat and finding the perfect engagement ring. We worked closely with Alyssa, who not only made great suggestions, but also we felt went above and beyond in helping us. We're so happy we chose to get all of our rings at 14 Karat! Lucie helped us find exactly what we were looking for. We were able to get a better quality diamond (GIA) for a better price than any competitors in Omaha. Lucie is so energetic and bright - her personality and laugh is contagious, we love her! We got my engagement ring at 14 karat and had such a wonderful experience that we decided to have Lucy make a necklace for my birthday. We requested (in texts) for a bezel pear diamond in the same rose gold as my engagement ring. When the necklace was finished it was a completely different alloy than what we requested, and was a basket instead of a bezel. Instead of admitting that she had made a mistake she still charged us for labor for something that was made incorrectly and not to our specification that was agreed upon beforehand. She also told us when we were unhappy that there was almost no way to match rose golds, something she never mentioned before it was made.

Hands down the best jeweler in Omaha! Top notch customer service, they always go above and beyond for me.

I was introduced to 14 Karat via Instagram because another page I follow, follows them. I started following both 14 Karat and Alyssa and am so happy I was introduced to this amazing business. I am not local to Omaha but am still able to shop by watching lives and story sales. Additionally, Alyssa is always happy to show me items when I ask about jewelry they have on hand. Purchasing is easy, even from afar, their shipping process is great, and they have so many amazing pieces across a spread of price points. I want to travel to Omaha just to meet the 14 Karat crew and buy in person, that's how much I love this store.

My husband bought be a lovely diamond bar necklace for my birthday. He said Roxie was very helpful to him. I thought the chain was a little too long so I brought it back to be shortened. I ( erroneously, as it turned out) thought the repair would be complimentary, sort of like sizing a ring, and no one said anything about a charge. When I picked it up there was a $70.00 charge. While I would have gladly paid for the small change, I thought $70.00 was really excessive. Had I known in advance, I would have taken it elsewhere.
