Olor Coffee

LOVE this place! i think i can be pretty picky with coffee- sweet but not too sweet that it overpowers the bitterness of coffee- but this place does it right. i had the iced latte with oatmilk and caramel syrup and it was so good! the coffee itself has a delicious bitterness that i think would work well with any of their syrups and flavors. staff was so friendly the moment i walked through the door. theres a few nice chairs and tables you can work on, its never too loud and theres low music in the background.

I've long wanted to try Olor; I am in the area sometimes for work and I like giving new coffee shops a try. I'm glad my curiosity has been satisfied, but I won't come here again.I asked if they had any specials, really surprise they have none. The guy said just the flavors. Really? What makes this coffee shop special when if I went a mile or so away, I'd be at one of the best shops in the city which does indeed have seasonal drinks in addition to their standard ones?When I came in, it was really wet outside. This place has nice shiny floors but the rug is just in front of the counter; they didn't have anything going from the door to the counter. The dude working laughed when I was tentatively walking to counter to place my order--which I was doing because I had slipped on the wet floor literally the moment I walked into the shop (I guess in addition to deciding against rugs, they choose not to mop up the wet tracked in by customers). I almost walked out at that point but I wanted to grab a couple warm drinks for my SO and myself and didn't want to have t drive around for it since I was already here.There was only one person working. It wasn't terribly busy, I suppose; however, it sounds like that might be standard operating procedure around here based on other reviews. If I'd had to wait behind two or three people for the same person to both take orders and make them, I'd have lost my patience before it was done.The shop is small. There's half a dozen tables or so. Parking is street only and it's metered. The Fullerton stop is just a few blocks away, so that's another option.

I highly recommend this coffee shop! The inside is very clean, inviting and cozy with great options to buy merchandise. I appreciated that their menu wasn't huge, but had great choices and dairy alternatives. We ordered an iced latte with almond milk and it was delicious -- not too milky and espresso had great flavor. The woman working the counter was also very nice and friendly. We'll be back!

That coffee smell Walked into @olorcoffeebar today while in the Lincoln Park neighborhood and it was such a great first impression. The cafe interior is gorgeous the white and greenery definitely makes this a place I would want to sit at for a while:) The coffee that's pictured here is a caramel cold brew with almond milk & iced vanilla latte both of which were off amazing quality! I wish I couldn't gotten some of the bakery items however they were out by the time I got in there so hopefully I can go back and try more things!:) The service was incredible everyone is so nice and helpful! It's definitely such a cute place and a great stop if you're in the neighborhood:)

Cute neighbourhood cafe. The ice coffee was pretty standard but hit the spot. The price is a bit on the higher end, and we had to wait a while for it too (although there didn't seem to be a lot of people around at the time). The service was super friendly though.

Olor Coffee was the meeting spot for a friend of mine while I was in town for a conference. They are a small coffee shop located next to DePaul with a few small tables and wall outlets.On a Friday morning, it was very quiet and so my friend and I were able to easily catch up. The space is small and there wasn't a lot going on, so be cognizant of what you're sharing as it felt like others could really hear you if they tried lol.I ordered a Chai Latte with Oat Milk (all vegan friendly - checked the ingredients) and it was great. Service was quick, drink was good, and chatting for an hour in a simple but cozy cafe made for a great morning.

Service was very good and prompt, I wish they had more sugar free syrup options because they only had hazelnut at the time. I ordered a 12oz iced latte with almond milk and and hazelnut and it was $8, which I thought was insane. It was good, but not worth $8. It's quiet and also dog friendly, seating is limited but it never gets too crowded. Not sure I would return just because of the price point!

Very small but also homey interior! I got an almond croissant and a vanilla latte. I enjoyed my latte as it had a lot of flavor. The croissant wasn't my favorite because of the filling, it was more vanilla based to my preference. It was still very good though! Service was quick and the barista was nice. It was lovely to stop by!

2.5. Not too too bad but not great. Place is nice enough but too busy to be operated by one person. Often results in insufficiently hot beverages. And the coffee never really wakes me up. Which is weird. Because that's what coffee is for. Also, matcha tea drinkers report the product is not worth drinking. Also, insufficient seating.

We finally got to Olor by DePaul campus today! It's been on the must-visit list since it opened, and today our need for coffee and a pastry aligned right there in that small, minimalist-modern cafe. I ordered an iced vanilla latte, daughter ordered a hot chocolate. My latte was good, next time I'd ask for extra ice because I like mine extra icy. Daughter's cocoa was "good, not bitter which I appreciate". I'd heard the pastries were good and they were: we got two old-fashioned donuts: chocolate and cinnamon. Both were outstanding! The cinnamon was similar to a coffee cake. The chocolate was very dense with a rich dark chocolate. Better love chocolate for that one! So good.Our server was efficient, and we walked there so didn't need to find street parking.
