Newtonville has half a dozen pizza places but Olivia's is the best, by far! $18 for meatball pizza vs $26 at da LaPosta. Olivia's pizza has plenty of cheese and nice consistent crust. And service is fast too! There are cute little tables for two outside (although there's a busy intersection nearby). Reheating the pizza the next day tastes just as good, so don't feel compelled to devour the entire pie in one sitting!

I wanted to try a new spot in Newton and found this place online and I was not disappointed. I was seated at the bar bc it was very busy on a Thursday night, so I do recommend making reservations. I was still presented with a full menu at the bar and I got truffle fries, a margarita pizza and a drink. I really enjoyed my truffle fries and would get it again!

A highly convenient spot with parking, delectable dishes at reasonable prices. The ambiance was delightful, and the service was both knowledgeable and friendly. We tried the Bolognese and the DePasquale homemade hot sausage, mozzarella, caramelized onion, and roasted pepper pizza. Both dishes are ones I would happily order again.

This was the second time I had visited this restaurant. I had a reservation for 5pm. The restaurant was empty when I arrived. I was immediately told that I only had 45 minutes to eat then would have to leave. This happened to me on my first visit as well. If I have a reservation, why am I being told I only have 45 minutes to eat??? The place was still empty when I left. It was not an enjoyable experience because I kept looking at my watch.

Went for dinner and it was delicious! They had a Panzanella salad special, which was yummy. Then, we split the margherita and the sausage pizzas! Soooo good! They have a great menu with many options, and their pasta looked delicious (many people next to us had it!) The staff were very kind and gave great recommendations for salads, drinks and food. The parking can be hard because it is on the street in nonantum, but after a few drive-bys, things usually open up! Only thing I wish is that there was more outdoor seating. Looking forward to returning again soon!

This is an excellent Italian restaurant. Dishes are delicious and we've had great service every time.It tends to be crowded on weekends so I definitely recommend having a reservation.The ambiance is casual, it can be a bit noisy but definitely worth the experience as the menu is pretty flawless.

We had a wonderful experience tonight! We were looking for a restaurant near Lasell university with gluten free options, and this was the perfect pick. From apps to dessert, we all loved it all. The truffle fries are amazing, as is the bruschetta. The gnocchi and bolognese were so, so delicious! Also, don't skip out on the affogato for dessert!

The ambiance is stunning. The service was good, but our waitress didn't smile once. The food itself was a disappointment. The pizza crust had zero flavor or texture. The potatoes used on the truffle fries also weren't flavorful. My beet salad had tiny cut up nuts and manchego cheese that was so blended in, it wasn't discernible. A better choice would have been larger chunks of both. I wish the food was worth the price and expectations, because it is such a lovely environment, but it wasn't. Also, it really would have helped if the young lady that was our server took the scowl off her face and smiled, at least once.
