Olive Tree Mediterranean Restaurant

This was an ok place to have a Mediterranean meal. It's set up like a deli, you to the counter to order, the menu hung behind the counter. Food is delivered to your table.Lots of take out. Big seating area that shows its age. The food was just ok, not well seasoned.

Was excited to come here based on the reviews but we were underwhelmed. First, you come in and order from a counter. Prices are decently high and you tip them even though they really don't serve you. You get your own drinks and they just bring the food to you. We noticed most people just order takeout. The wait was long while ordering in. I ordered 2 gyros and my wife ordered a gyro platter. It took a solid 30 minutes to get the food. The food itself was pretty mediocre I am sad to say. The gyro meat had basically zero flavor but they do give a lot of meat. The rice, cheese and vegetables seemed good. They overcharged me an extra drink and I asked for hummus on the gyro which they charged me for and completely forgot that. I didn't even want to bring it up because it had already taken 30 minutes to get the wrong gyro in the first place.So this was my conclusion...cons are price, tips for nothing, food flavor bland, wait time, extra charges and forgotten order requests. The pros are they give you a large quantity of food, rice is good and easy to get seating.

Nice find in a strip mall. As usual the Yelpers didn't lead me astray. Nothing fancy about this place, you order by walking up to a counter but the food is really good. Love that they have pictures on the menu so you can see what you're getting. I like to take pictures but this time it looked so yummy I just dug right in.I had a pita gyro, super tasty and the pita was fresh and all the fillings were so good. For $2 more I got a Greek salad which of course I couldn't finish, the sandwich was pretty big so brought it home for later. The cost was $15 which I thought reasonable. My friend got chicken avocado swarma, and she said it was excellent.You can get take out or sit in one of the booths. Drinks are out of a soda fountain so do expect fresh ice tea but that's ok.Liked the food and will go back for sure.

I was shopping at Trader Joe's and decided to grab some lunch with my partner since it was located on the same plaza. We've ordered take out from Olive Tree before but haven't dine inside before. As we entered the restaurant, we had to walk to the counter to order our food. The menu was displayed behind the counter with some pictures. If you're like me, I like to read the menu on their website ahead of time before ordering. I ordered the avocado chicken shawarma wrap combo with garlic fries while my partner got the gyro combo with olive tree fries. Once you order and pay for your food, you look for a table to dine in. The restaurant has a nice ambiance filled with rustic decors like you're in the Mediterranean. Service is non existent except when they bring your food. For my dish, I really love the marinate of the chicken shawarma which goes so well with the avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion and tzatziki sauce, wrapped in pita bread. It seemed like a very healthy meal. Did I mention the garlic fries were to die for?! The garlic aioli smothered all over the fries tasted so delicious, with strong garlic flavors. Made it very hard to share. If you're a garlic lover, this is a must order! I sampled my partner's gyro wrap and it tasted very good. The meat wasn't dry and gamey, which I like. Overall, one of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants around the area and I will continue to be their loyal customer.

Food, customer service, and atmosphere here are wonderful. I've been getting take out for sometime but have had a few occasions of dining in and they were great experiences. My super picky mother enjoys it as well when she visits.

A solid choice for those craving a taste of the Mediterranean in a casual self-service setting.

Ordered a lamb kebab plate for about $19 without tip! The lamb could have been cooked more. Hoped it would be tender but it did taste good! Not the traditional Greek salad that I was hoping for but the dressing was good. Hummus was pretty good. Parking in a huge plaza.

Food inspectors eat here. Do I need to say more? Clean. Great friendly service. Delicious food. Efficient online order and take out processses. Enjoy!

I made a note to take a picture of my food from Olive Tree, but I totally forgot and just dug in right away lol! The food: Olive Tree has a variety of gyros and salads with a plethora of exotic Mediterranean spices and style! In other words, it has fabulous food! The service: I've been to Olive Tree no less than twenty times, and the staff are usually nice and really helpful! However, the wait for the food is usually 15-45 minutes (it varies by how busy it is) but it's definitely worth the wait! The restaurant itself: It has a low lighting in the room, which is actually kind of calming. A huge map of the Mediterranean is framed on one of the walls. There are booths and tables with regular chairs, too. It's a beautiful restaurant with decor that brings you to the Mediterranean without even crossing the ocean. Final notes: I would definitely recommend Olive Tree! It is a beautiful restaurant with a calming atmosphere. Besides that, they make delicious food! And that is saying a lot since I'm an American-style girl who usually can't abide foreign food. But Olive Tree is just... amazing.!

Absolutely delicious and huge portions. Cozy environment and lovely calm music. We will be back.
