Yes! The delicious tapas!! Came here for dinner on a Saturday night and we had such a great experience! First of all do not be fooled by the outside appearance of this super cute restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were transformed into an eclectic, spunky and fun atmosphere that you would not have expected. There is a huge bar in the center of the restaurant with tons of different liquor bottles and plenty of seating for big groups. The waiter was very attentive throughout our meal. We started with some super yummy cocktails and then explored their tapas menu. They have several items in their menu categorized by country which is fun but we only wanted dishes from Spain. We decided on their shrimp appetizer, Spanish style tortilla, their house salad and some fried pork. Everything was delicious! The shrimp was grilled in spicy lemony sauce which was amazing! The Spanish tortilla was filled with potatos and chorizo and it was mouthwatering! The salad was super fresh and we couldn't stop eating the fried pork! We literally licked all the bowls clean and still wanted more! Oh and the cocktails were also amazing! I can't wait to come back and try some of their other dishes!

Hello. Since my original review, I've visited the restaurant again a handful of times, primarily to watch the Euro Cup and Copa America games. Most times, I tried some new dishes. After the original review, I also tried the octopus, the albondigas, the Patatas bravas, Camarones al Ajillo, but I kept coming back to the Paella and the sangria. After further consideration, I have to change my review to 4 stars (a 3.5 realistically). The Paella is always great, but some of the other dishes left a bit to be desired. Particularly the octopus was rubbery and flavorless. The Patatas Bravas are a great value for money but are overwhelmed by the flavor of Mayo. The camarones al Ajillo were fine, but I've had better. The albondigas were delicious. The sangria is always refreshing and really hits the spot. As I mentioned, this restaurant really caters to the sports fanatics. For this reason, it's a great spot to watch a game but maybe not for a date if you want to be able to hear each other. The service continues to be mostly good. I've been here around 4 times so far and my only quarrel was not being able to catch the Spain vs England game. It's usually fairly empty but when I showed up that day, I was told I needed a reservation and there was no waitlist or space for walk-ins. It was a little disappointing but I've learned my lesson to make a reservation in advance.

This is possibly one of the funnest and most amazing restaurant that I've visited recently. Located in watertown, this is the most authentic Spanish tapas restaurant I have ever visited. Restaurant is very clean. Staffs are friendly and service is always with a smile. And if you are lucky, you will be waited on by the hardworking owner himself who is very proud of his menu creations, and rightfully so because everything on there is amazingly delicious. Can't really go wrong with anything and the variety is huge that there will be something for everyone. Besides the food, they have some of the best beer selections on tap, Spanish wines and Spanish cider served in the most unique and fun way. I don't nlt want to be the spoiler so you must go and experience it for yourself, you will not regret it.

We ate at OLESPANA tonight, and it was fabulous!! We shared 4 tapas, the best of which were the lamb chops, and the tortilla!! I have had tortillas at other tapas places, but none were half as good as this one. Run, don't walk to OLESPANA!!

This is, by far, the most authentic Spanish restaurant in the Boston greater area. Dishes are truly the same style as you'll find in Spain. Prices are reasonable, as they don't try to sell you a tortilla tapa as a luxury item as other places do (if you're a Spaniard like me living in Boston, you know what places I mean). Service was immaculate and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Finally a place that I feel comfortable bringing non-Spaniard friends to taste Spanish food.

We spontaneously decided to try out our new local tapas restaurant and were delighted! We started off with some sangrías, which were light and fruity (not with fruit pieces but with more of a fruity spritzer vibe), were served with a straw, and had a kick. Then we had lamb chops (the waiter suggested ordering one chop more so we would have 2 and 2)- YUM! Tasted like a home cooked meal, with succulent lamb chops atop homey fresh made fries. Then we enjoyed the seafood paella, which had great saffron flavor and fresh seafood. We finished everything! Mussels, shrimp, calamari, red pepper, atop that wonderful paella rice, with a sauce that developed a lot of flavor.

I love the food here. Huge paellas and great croquetas and sangria. Great spot and open late on the weekends. Easy to chat with new friends. Huge interior!

Came here for dinner during its 1st anniversary. Paella is one of my favorite dishes, but I was disappointed with their seafood version. I found it tasting much like their other dishes (patatas) using a tomato-based flavoring. Not even sure if it had saffron, which is a critical element. I've had paella in Madrid and Barcelona, so I should have a good idea what it should taste like. I've even made it myself, which came out very good. However, the waitress was friendly and attentive. Also, I found the decor quite interesting, with a bathtub being used as a lampshade!

New tapas spot. Bit of an identity crisis, is it Spanish, is it American? Is it a whisky bar? We were waiting for la bodega so we came here for a few items and sangria. We had the garlic shrimp, croquettes, steak tips, and nachos to share between 4 people. The Spanish tapas were all good! Loved the croquettes. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, but lacking in flavor. The nachos were a disaster. I didn't take a pic but it looked like it came from a different restaurant. It was tossed together with no thought and was kinda terrible. Canned jalapeños and shredded cheese mix. This spot is new so they might still be sorting out what kind of restaurant they are. I will eventually try it again but wouldn't recommend it at this point in time.

The food and service are both great. We were just looking for something to eat near our hotel and found a place that we wish was near where we live. This is a place we have already recommend to friends and relatives that live nearby. Try out this gem of a place. Try the paella, it's as good as we have had in Spain
