We were at the OT Tequila Factory for their Taco Bar on a Saturday. We were promptly seated and attended to. We loved it The guitarist sang to our son and it was so sweet! The taco bar has chicken + beef +all the fixings, salad + chocolate chip cookies + best brownie bites and lemonade, iced tea + water. The views are amazing. We will definitely be back. It's great as they have underground parking and good for big groups and kids.

There were good parts, but for $40 per person for a Sunday brunch that had good but not great food is overpriced. The parking was underground but limited. The view was good, looked out over Old Town. The seating were tables pushed together on an outdoor patio. I expected more for the price.

Finding good Mexican food in Old Town should not be that difficult. But it definitely is. As a tourist destination, it seems like the local places are all packed with tourists, but serving mediocre food at best. The Old Town Tequila Factory, formerly known as Acapulco, serves a fairly good meal, but they shine with their adult beverages, which are not watered-down, syrupy sweet "margaritas" made to serve to the out-of-towners. Many of the other places in Old Town seem to do just that. Some of the "margaritas" I have had in the past seem to actually have very little alcohol. The cadillac margarita at the OTTF is spot-on when ordered without any added sweetner. Strong and full of lime flavor!I had chicken fajitas recently and can report that the chicken was tender and cooked to perfection. The beans were not great, but everything else was solid. I will return to try their weekend brunch one of these days. The waiter was recommending that, so why not!

The place was empty when I got there. I had to wait to be seated and when I asked to be seated outside they looked annoyed to open it up. I had a single margarita, the Cadillac Margarita. Probably the most tasteless margarita I've ever had. Rarely do I give someone such a low score, but this place deserves it. I decided just to have my drink and ask for the check.

We came on saturday afternoon & the place was empty. we stoodin the front for a solid 5 minutes before an employeecame up. We sat on the patio which was nice but the table was sticky & dirty. not a good experience

TL;DR: good location to have a large party for dinner. The servers are attentive and the fajita plates are really good (especially if you like onions!)Came to celebrate a birthday with a party of 20(!) and although there was a slight mixup with the tables to start, we were seated shortly after the mixup was cleared upBeverage service was quick and the servers were really hustling bringing glasses, pitchers, and individual drink ordersThe Cadillac margarita was the way to go (vs the classic) and we moved through them quite quicklyOrdered the Trio Fajita Plate (chicken, beef, shrimp) with flour tortilla for two of us and it was more than enough food since we also had some of the appetizers and lots of table chips and salsa- The beef was cooked to a perfect medium rare and had a great char- Unfortunately, the shrimp and the chicken were both a little over-cooked - chewy and dry respectively- The excess of onions on the plate was sooo good! There must've been at least half an onion's worth and all of it was gone by the end of the meal- The beans, rice, and condiments were as expected - nothing specialI'll definitely be back for the fajita plates - love the sizzle! Maybe just go for the steak fajita next time :)And, of course, the extensive selection of tequilas for both shots, cocktails, and margaritas!Salud, Old Town Tequila Factory!

I visited this place because I heard how good it wasI was very well satisfied. The wait wasn't long and the food was great! The view from where we sat was amazing, we were able to see fireworks from our sitting area which was pretty cool. They also have a nice little picture area where you can take pictures with a sombrero.

Haven't been to OTTF in several years. I used to go a lot and it was so nice to be back. Our server, Greg was great and made sure we had everything. The brunch was fantastic and we had a great time. Wish they started a little earlier and miss the tortillas de masa a Mano, but I'm just glad they still have brunch. Service was wonderful! You have a great team.

We didn't plan this, but we came here on the cinco de mayo day! The restaurant was BUSY! Many groups made reservations and the place was packed! We thought there would be a very long wait time, but we got lucky and had a small table near the bar right the way. We didn't even know it's all you can eat champagne brunch lol The food was great! Authentic Mexican food. Lots of options, fresh tortillas, soups, fajitas, etc. I really enjoyed it. This restaurant has three patio areas and the view is gorgeous. I would totally come back again and make a reservation for the patio table.

We decided this would be a nice place for another meetup. Can't beat the location and the views. It's a beautiful, sunny day in San Diego in the month of November! We paid for a reasonably priced Champagne Buffet Brunch at $34.75 (not including tax) available on the weekends; reservations should be made. There is a great selection to include an omelette station, beans, rice, glazed ribs (still my favorite!), beef/chicken shish kabobs, sweet corn, tortillas, soups, salads, and desserts to name a few. Everything was delicious! The server came around to fill champagne glasses. But the majority of the meal was self serve.I gave one star off because parking was a pain. There's a parking garage, which had a sign that read Free Parking so I drove in and became confused because it said the parking fee was $25. It took a while to get out of there. I didn't realize there were so many levels in that garage. I finally found handicapped parking at Heritage Park. All the parking lots in Old Town were full.We all had a great time as we reminisced about kindergarten and high school and discussed the present & the future. I'd like to return with the hubby here; just the two of us. :-)
