The pastries are so yummy!! Light fluffy pastry with a fun assortment of fillings. The cake is delicious too. They have sandwiches and I haven't tried. Stop in, you will enjoy it!

Newly opened not closed very nice clean bakery with pastries, breads,cookies plus deli sandwiches and drinks some Argentinian treats too . They are open everyday but Sunday. Looked there hard to find yummy napoleon. Five stars

This bakery just opened at the new location last week. I got a napoleon (hard to find anyway here else), and Apple turnover thing and a salami sandwich. Have only eaten the napoleon so far so will review the others later. Very nice staff. Lots of seating areas.

Love at first bite. I tried a couple hard to find items like napoleon and cannolis. Very delectable, crispy, and really perfect level of sweetness and flavors. One thing I think was off was the filling of the cannoli was whipped cream with no mascarpone but it was so good I really enjoyed it. The owner helped me, he was really kind and personable and gave me some recommendations for next time. Walking in you can see it is very clean and well cared for. Highly recommend and I'll be back!

This bakery recently opened up in Universities Place in the mini mall area of 56th and Orchard right by the 7-11. As I was driving to my monthly pedicure (in the same complex) I saw balloons off the building where the bakery is. I asked my nail technician about and was told there was a bakery that had just moved in and the balloons were from the grand opening. I opened up Yelp to try and figure out the name so I could look at the menu. I couldn't see a menu or website per se, but there were comments indicating this bakery used to be located in Tacoma. Reviews generally said it was an Argentinian bakery, but another noted the owner was from Uruguay so I really didn't know what to expect. The consensus seemed to be that their pastries and savory pies were delicious so when my pedicure was done, I walked across the parking lot to figure it out.I was the only person in there on a Friday around 11:30AM. This made it so the super nice lady behind the counter could answer my questions. I completely forgot to ask if the pastries were Argentinian as many of the reviews suggested. I decided to get about 6 things to take home and try with my fiancé. I chose two different savory meat pies that resembled pasties. I chose two danish-type items (I believe a pear danish that ended up actually being peach and something else I can't recall) and two Napoleons as those were recommended by the lady at the counter and I recalled many of the Yelp reviews mentioning those. I thought it was an extra nice gesture to offer to hear everything up, but since I live clear across town in Frederickson, I told her not to bother since they'd just get cold on the drive home. I'm going to dare to disagree with the vast amount of reviewers and say the Napoleon is not the best. I found it just ok, it wasn't for me (either flavor -chocolate or Bavarian style cream). My fiancé thought they were great. It may be because I don't have much of a sweet tooth and maybe it just was too much for me. Or the texture. Unsure, but I want to express that the issue is me and not because the Napoleon was bad. Otherwise, we both LOVED everything else and I'm embarrassed to say we ate it all way too quick. Overall, I highly recommend trying out this tasty sweets shop. I have already been telling people about it, including a friend who lives in Lacey, but isn't afraid to drive for a good old fashioned type bakery shop with delicious pastries. I definitely plan on going back and getting another haul of samples to bring home and split with my man. I saw some cake slices I want to try and I'd love to try some more pastries and savory hand pies. I should have taken pictures, but I didn't think about it at the time. Two thumbs up

Old Times Bakery is a gem! Their cakes are absolutely unique and incredibly delicious. My boyfriend is completely addicted to them, and honestly, I can't blame him. Each cake has its own special touch, making every bite a delightful surprise. The flavors are rich, the textures are perfect, and they always use fresh ingredients. Whether it's a classic chocolate cake or a more adventurous flavor, you can taste the care and creativity that goes into each one. If you haven't tried their cakes yet, you're missing out on something truly special. Highly recommend!

I really wanted to like this place. The service was good and the owner and employees were so nice. I only ordered a few pastries and a few cookies to try so this review is only for these. The raspberry pastry, the chocolate cookie, lemon cookie and dolce de leche pastry were not good. They were very bland and chalky. The coconut roll was good. I know they sell pizza and other items as well and I'll update my review if it changes.

Please stop by and give this small business a try. These are exactly the kind of businesses to support in Washington! The Tiramisu was excellent. The couple that runs the shop is very sweet and you can tell they are putting their heart into the business.I will be returning!

We stopped by this place a week ago since we saw it was new! Really cute mom and pop bakery - super friendly and their bakery items are awesome. Would recommend!
