Yukon On Wheels

Yukon on Wheels is nice. They had a kiddie area that kids can learn to skate, as well as a big rink.Pricing is extremely reasonable and probably the best priced around OKC.They have a concession stand, a little seating, and their bathrooms are okay. They should probably update them too. The only thing that bothered me when I was there, was many older kids would not be reprimanded or asked to leave if they were skating extremely fast. My niece got ran into very badly, hit in the face and immediately started to cry. I was not happy and let the employees know, and they THEN addressed it. Other than having to watch your kiddos closely and making sure employees do the same for kids who break the rules, I would recommend.

I had such a blast going here for my birthday!Never tried roller skating before but if you want to try it you can here, skates are part of entry admissions so you can just grab a pair after coming in.Wasn't super crowded so it left plenty of space to practice to my comfort and always someone nearby if you needed help.They also arranged small games and raffles throughout the day and some of them seem really fun! I wish I was more experienced with the wheels to join.Highly recommend if you live near Yukon!

Nostalgia at its finest! I brought my kids here to have a taste of what it was like being a kid before iPhones! I used to go here in the late 90's as a kid, and it still has the same feel good vibes! I love how they've kept the integrity of the original style and theme! Had a great time and we plan to go back!

This roller rink is just a Friday night drop-off daycare for middle schoolers. My church's community group came here in early June, and we did a fun 90s theme dress-up roller skate together, the 14 of us (all married adults). It was $11 per person to skate and to rent skates. We came on a Friday, and the place was crawling with kids and 0 adults, minus the staff (which were mostly young adults). The rink skates well and the shoes we rented fit snugly and it was fun to roll around. The staff boys who helped pass out skates were friendly. The con to this place is that they are constantly yelling out rules over the intercom. It is difficult to enjoy the music when the kids are doing something wrong, like taking food outside of the designated food area, or standing on chairs, or skating the wrong direction, or standing on the skating area... it got annoying. I acknowledge that this annoyance was simply because I was an adult trying to enjoy a place mostly for kids, but they didn't have to announce everything over the mic. Kids respond better with one on one conversation, not by being called out and receiving attention for their behavior that they don't even know is against the rules. Sorry... rant over. I really want to like this place. The music was fun & the lights made it nostalgic. Games were played every 30 minutes. I am sure it is a pleasure to enjoy when you rent out the whole building. But I did not enjoy my casual skate on a Friday night because the staff was very strict and because the kids are crazy and uncontrolled. I don't think I'll be back.

Skating birthday party. I liked that it was rented to just the birthday group and not to everyone else . The place was coean,service was nice. They had games on the rink for us to play. Nothing out of this world, but a good place to celebrate kids party.

Ive been here a good amount of times and had a good experience but the fact they get onto you for going to fast is very annoying, ive gotten in trouble for it a number of times. Not good if you like going fast.

Went for my daughters 10 birthday but since we didn't book the "Birthday" we were not allowed to bring in cupcakes so that was disappointing. We purchased 20 drinks for our kids and snacks which was absolutely over priced because No Refills then to add it is posted parents is $4 but the man charged full $8 for my husband. Mind you we brought in 28 ppl only three of us adults did not skate. Other parents bought their own drinks the staff was under staffed concessions were order wait excuse me while I go to the bathroom and out of lots of items. Top it off a elderly man fell broke his finger "clearly visible laying horizontal next to the others" staff put soap in the ice bag. Stating kids like to throw the ice at each other well hello kids don't care if they throw soap either.

I took my 14 year old grandson last Thursday. He had a good time even though he didn't have any friends with him. They keep the music and games engaging for all ages. Nice atmosphere! Great place for a family or group outing!

Do not recommend. Worst skating experience our family has had. The rules are extreme, such as no water (even covered) in the sitting area or candy from their own candy machine. You also can't stand near the wall for too long or you'll be told to keep moving. We have some older skaters 13-19 and they were told not to skate at a moderate speed... you should be able to stake a little fast in a skating rink right? They even have a kiddie corner for younger skaters to feel more confident! The skates are so bad, they pull in different ways at different speeds and are so uncomfortable. Half of our party didn't skate longer than 15-20 mins because it's simply not worth it for the pain. Our 6 year old was the last standing in the limbo but she didn't go under the very last one because she was the last one standing and no one told her. They then told her after they put everything away that she couldn't have the prize because she didn't "finish." unprofessional and unnecessary. Don't waste your time and your money here.
