I was visiting a friend in Oklahoma and she took me to Bricktown in OKC.I wanted Mexican food so we chose this establishment to try.It was slow at the time we're there.. maybe 5:30 on a Sunday evening. We went to the bar and were served immediately. The strawberry Margarita was thick and flavorful. The bar tender, Jordan was very nice and laid back. He conversated with us while we waited on our food. Our food arrived quickly and we had to rush off to another appointment. Jordan made sure had everything packed quickly to go.We got a 2 taco deal with a side for $12. I had one chicken and one beef taco with a side of black beans. The food was average. I was hoping for a more authentic taco and just tasted regular standard flavor. I dumped all the sauce I could on the tacos just to get some flavor.Yhe service was great, you get chips and salsa, the price was right just didn't wow me.

Went here a few weeks ago. We were trying to meet our friends half way between houses so ended up here. You order at a counter and then seat yourself, which I like, but they have where you can make reservations on Open Table. That does not make a lot of sense to me?My husband and I were not super hungry so we split the 2 tacos, which comes with 1 side and salsa and chips. Our friends ordered same but 2 tacos a piece. They only received one of their chips and salsas instead of 2. That was okay because the salsa tasted like marinara. The tacos were not bad. This just would not be a place I went on purpose. If it was convenient, maybe.

The staff here were very friendly, bartender Marcus was very polite and attentive, he also made us some delicious margaritas (from happy hour menu and regular menu). The decor is very simple and not much to talk about definitely going for a taco stand kinda of vibe. You walk in, make your order, pay, get an order number, then find a seat (plenty of seats). You have to order drinks separate at the bar, so eating at the bar is a great idea. We order chicken tortilla soup which had great flavor but was not dressed with the garnishes (we asked for garnishes and dressed it up) and was a bit cold ( I suggest a deeper narrow bowl so soup stays warm) Overall not a bad experience and would go back just to drink and chat it up with Marcus.

The bartender ( during happy hour Jordan 10/15/24 ) was unapproachable, unfriendly, and unprofessional. I asked a valid question about a beverage and was met with a very condescending tone and answer that had absolutely nothing to do with my question. I asked the gentleman "how strong are your margaritas" ? He replies with " that's a weird question, that's like me walking into your kitchen and asking if you can cook" ((( whattt ))) ..... His answer embarrassed me and made me uncomfortable. This cannot be the customer service standard for this establishment.

This place in Bricktown turned out to be a pleasant surprise. We sat outside on the deck and enjoyed watching the activities below. Ordered some nachos with ground beef and the salsa trio. Both were very good. The salsa in particular were very flavorful. Ground beef on the nachos was well seasoned and not dry. Ordered at the counter and food was brought out promptly

We stopped in here on a Saturday night. We had a group of 8 and we didn't have formal dinner plans, so we knew we would be at the mercy of whatever was available. This place has a walk-up ordering area. We all selected our items and placed our orders. The ordering situation itself was mildly chaotic, and the guy at the register seemed a little confused about some of the menu items. We were able to grab a couple of tables after ordering. The restaurant was moderately busy and also has outdoor seating. I'm not sure if you normally order alcoholic drinks from a server, or if you always have to order at the bar, but the bar situation is a bit messy. I went up to order 4 separate drinks and it was kind of a disaster. They were out of glasses. Mind you, it's a Saturday night, so they probably need to run the dishwasher a little more often, you know? It took a little while to get my drinks after they found some plastic cups to use. The chips and salsa were good as was my veggie burrito. Unfortunately, only a few people were given silverware for their entrees. Apparently they don't think you need utensils for a big burrito. Both people who ordered burritos in our group did not receive utensils. Burritos are messy items in general! I ended up having to flag down someone to finally get a fork. Another in our party's order came out wrong (which they fixed), but the whole place and service was kind of in shambles. There were several service items (like napkin holders, extra condiments, and maybe even a cleaning rag) just sitting on a one table... which was in the middle of the restaurant. So basically, there was an entire table that nobody could use. The bathrooms were also in bad shape with the trash can overflowing and it was in desperate need of cleaning. In summation, the food here is decent, but the atmosphere is unnecessarily hectic and confusing. It also lacking in the sanitation department, so be wary if you stop here.

I've been showing a co-worker who's new to America good places to eat. When we arrived at Yucatan, we waited to be seated for about 5 minutes without anyone greeting us. There was only one table occupied and a single guy at the bar. There was honestly no excuse. We quickly understood why this place wasn't busy compared to every other restaurant was packed in comparison. I won't be coming back. Santos across the canal was a night and day difference

Tried to go here this afternoon. The hostess / server was consistently rude. After initial contact, I gave her the benefit of the doubt because first impressions may not be accurate, depending on circumstances, but she continued to be rude to the point that I ended up putting the menu down and walking out. Will NEVER BE BACK, and mark my words, if this is the kind of customer service that they promote, they will not last here. If you want street tacos, I would suggest Fuzzy's or Torchy's; they always have good food, good service, good drinks.
