Yellow Dog Coffee

My husband discovered Yellow Dog Coffee through a quick Reddit search for dog-friendly spots in Norman, Oklahoma, while we were visiting family for the holidays. We decided to stop by on a random weekday afternoon, and it did not disappoint.The shop had plenty of parking, and we were lucky to snag a spot right out front. Inside, the space was inviting and eclectic--spacious, homey, and full of unique furniture, art, and seating options. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, not too crowded but comfortably lively.What stood out most was how dog-friendly they were. They greeted my pup with so much enthusiasm, making it clear that dogs are truly welcome here. I ordered a chai with oat milk, which arrived quickly. While the chai was good (not amazing), the overall vibe of the place more than made up for it.Yellow Dog Coffee is a cozy, dog-loving spot I'd happily return to. It's perfect for a relaxed afternoon with your furry friend.

Coffee is wonderful here. I get the cold brew Robs way with almond milk. I rated 4 stars because I wish they had more of a variety for food choices, and when it rains the roof can start to leak on you.

Go to stop whenever i'm in norman, matcha and all the coffee is great. The staff is very caring and are super friendly. There's tons of indoor seating as well as some outdoor, the couches are especially comfy.

After being here more, some suggestions! They cannot seem to mix syrup and iced coffee, or at least my barista couldn't, so not a fan of cold brew with oatmilk and lavender, but i did love their cappucino! The barista Maddy is just THE BEST!!! So sweet.

Best dirty chai ever! I love to sit on the couch and read for a few hours. The baristas are chill, and the environment is calm even when there's a lot of customers inside.

I love their coffee and the bohemian vibe of the eclectic space! Definitely recommend to newcomers!

Delicious peppermint latte and scrumptious chocolate muffin! Everything came out super fast and they were very friendly and accommodating. Really great seating with plenty of room and comfy chairs. It's a lovely quaint atmosphere. Plus, they allow dogs! I will definitely be going back again soon.

To be fair I'm not into social coffee houses. I am however into coffee, and have been for a very long time. I told server I like a strong drip brewed Colombian coffee. He suggested a Brazilian they had on special, and I asked it was made with Arabica or Robusto beans. He corrected my pronunciation of Arabica as a-ri-ba-ca instead of the long second a. He was wrong and snobbish.

Used to be a fave of mine until recently. I used to love that their coffee drinks weren't too sweet. They must have changed their recipe because the drinks have been too sweet on my last 5 visits. Also, they're always out of the everything bagels. Last 8 visits, they've been out. I'll still frequent the location. Just have to remember to order my drink with half sweetness and will have to come to the realization that they'll be out of bagels!
