Waited for darn near twenty minutes for a call when my cab was to arrive.Rude dispatcher said (!!!) that it was I who had said he would call, not the other way around.Patently absurd.Got an Uber instead. One Yelp star? Pretty darn generous, if you ask me.

Taking a cab in OKC was a strange experience. The hotel I was staying at didn't have a taxi stand and had Yellow Cab on speed-dial so I didn't have much of a choice. The cabs were old and comparable to cabs you'll find in a third-world country. The drivers were weird. Cab experience #1: One lady cab driver told another cabbie at the airport that we wanted her to wait for us because there aren't any cabs that "late" (9pm) which was not true. The cab reeked of cigarette smoke.Cab experience #2: at the airport, another cabbie was waiting for us thanks to the lady cab driver mentioned above. He probably has ADHD and listening to him talk was rather entertaining - he sure woke me up. He kept going off on tangents. He was telling us how he keeps his self entertained in the cab, the instruments he plays, that he's a "master striker", the women he dated when he was still in California and Vegas, etc. Only 50% (max) of what he said was probably true but he was lively and enjoyed his job.Cab experience #3: from the hotel, we had 2 pieces of luggage and the driver didn't even bother help us with them. He was on his cellphone the whole time. RUUUUUUUDE!!!Cab experience #4: from a restaurant going to the airport, our cabbie hails from Vegas. He helped us with our luggage and we had a normal conversation.Cabs are hard to come by in OKC. We paid $23-27 for a 12-mile trip which is half the price we'd pay in Vegas.

Ordered a cab for airport night before for early flight. Cab never showed, when I called got recorded message that said they were trying to find cab in area. Needless to say , had to quickly make other arrangements. Very stressful. I would not recommend if you need a reliable ride.

Called at 5:45pm and waited. After 20 minutes with no update, I called and they said 15 minutes more. Half hour later, no taxi. I called again, 45 minutes after the original call for those of you counting. They said 15 minutes more. Called again 20 minutes later (1:05 ) and they said... 15 minutes more.I'd rather be told no, or given an honest time than be dicked around like that.Yellow cab of OKC you are on my will never do business again list. I hope uber drives you out of business

Taking yellow cab is probably the worst mistake you'll make. I have called a number of 6 times for my sick mom to get to her appointments, DAYS before her appointments. (I live in another city several hours from her.)Not ONCE out of those 6 times have they even picked her up. They called her to tell her they were on their way, Never showed up. I was really shocked because everyone had nothing good to say about yellow cab, but this company disgusts me. Go to Uber if you want someone to actually show up for you.

Left me waiting 45 min to an hour two or more times. Tonight I called back after waiting 45 minutes only to be told I had not called. At 6:00pm, I tried the app but it was giving me trouble so I called them. My call history shows first call at 6:07pm which went perfectly. Driver arrived quickly. Perfect gentleman driver, pleasant conversation. Nice experience. Finished my shopping. Tried the app again. Still not working so I called again at 8:06pm. She said she'll send a driver. I asked about the app. She said a coworker said a lot of people are having the same trouble. I told her I was outside the McDonald's entrance of Walmart at 2000 W. Memorial Rd. At 8:43pm, I called again to see if she can give me an ETA on my driver. She said she didn't have my call at 8:06 logged in. She just then logged it in and a driver showed up very quickly. Although he had to call me to ask where I was at Walmart so I, yet again, had to repeat myself once again. I was very tired and I tried to be pleasant with him but I did let him know I had been waiting for 45 minutes. He absolutely was the rudest driver I've ever had. No empathy or apology or any type of conversation other than 'where are you going?' From him at all. He helped get my groceries out of his van. That is clearly all he cared about- getting me and my stuff out of his van as you can tell by the attached picture. I have had many, many cab drivers, including YC, Uber & Lyft help me and every other one has at least brought my packages to my porch which is where I am standing while taking the picture. Not far at all. I had already taken one load and unlocked the door. My tip for him was no different than for other drivers either. Plus he knew I'm handicapped because I was riding a handicapped cart at Walmart and this is how he left me. Is the company proud of employees like this?I'm perturbed at the company and perturbed at the jerk of a driver as well.
