Was recommended to this location by a coworker. I've been dying to try the birrira tacos since I've seen them all over the Internet. Called this location and the lady who answered was super friendly. She let me know that their Facebook has the menu and that they now offer doordash. I ended up ordering take out since I didn't want to dine in. I think that's my mistake. The tortillas weren't crunchy anymore they become a little soggy. Their red salsa was spicy and I'd enjoy it a lot. I would probably return but will dine in next time.

Another COVID review. I went to the Yaqui's restaurant on the south side. I'm making an assumption that the food truck is probably tied to the restaurant?However, even with the covid disclaimer, this spot was legit! They focus on Sonoran Mexican food. I went there with my family to try the Birria Tacos. It was recommended that we try the birria Queso tacos with consume. OMG!I'm not even a big fan of stews. Birria is literally stewed meat. But the tacos had a slight crunch. It was very simple but super flavorful- especially when it was dipped into the consume. I could've used a sprinkling of salt but my better half thought it was perfect. And add a drizzle of their hot salsa.... oooheey! Moving on- we tried 3 of their dogs. The Yaqui, Chili and another one that is wrapped in bacon. First off, I just need to say that their hot dog buns are like Hawaiian rolls... fluffy and soft. And they are grilled to perfection. The hotdogs themselves are just normal hotdogs but they fill it with a generous amount of mayo, ketchup and mustard. I should've listened to my wife all these years.... she's always eaten her hotdogs with the condiment trinity and I had never tried it until today. Now I know what I've been missing! Some have bacon, others had tomatoes, onions etc. All the dogs were fabulous. This is probably now my favorite place to eat hotdogs!Lastly, we had a quesadilla. Not sure what the name of it was but it came with bacon, beef and ham. It was stuffed with meat. Nothing fancy but so yummy! We were also served salsa and chips as a complimentary appetizer. The service was friendly and quick. Yes, this is a small hole-in-the-wall but very clean and tidy. I can't speak for their bathrooms (didn't need to go). But this hit the spot for us for some great Mexican food. The menu is long and there are many options and it's mostly all in Spanish but take a chance and go for it... you'll be pleasantly surprised. :)

This is an amazing seafood restaurant. Excellent prices and very delicious. This restaurant is actually on 2812 S western Ave in Okc, use to be a food truck. They have lots of selection when it comes to original Sonora style food. I highly recommend the Birria Tacos and the aguachiles. You won't be disappointed!!!
