Winchester Run Apartments

The property of these apartments is very friendly and I never had issues with my neighbors but here's the issues I had while living here. So my initial move in date was pushed back two days, I was told they were going to put completely new appliances. When I moved in, the refrigerator had stains inside of it, the oven looked a bit dated and the dishwasher was so old and crusty and didn't turn on (they did later replace the dishwasher after I put in a work order). You have to flush the toilet 3 times to get it to completely flush, yes I checked the pressure on it. Two months after moving in the AC stopped working and it took a month to fix it and they provided me with one room window unit that did basically nothing in the 90+ weather for the whole apartment. It later broke again in December, which was fine cause it was cold outside. January rolled around and it was getting hot again and it took until February to get it fixed again. I had to call once a week to get an update and every time I asked for an update they would sound annoyed that I had the audacity to even ask about it, especially Lisa. Both times the ac broke, she suggested just opening the windows....They also replaced my locks without notifying me, my boyfriend was waiting on me that day so they just told him and gave him the keys. They also have what seems like constant water shut offs for certain buildings. I requested a month to month and Cheyenne had approved it. Two weeks later someone had tried to enter the apartment. I called the office to ask about it and to my surprise, I had been told by Cheyenne that I was to have been moved out already and someone had already sign for my apartment . I was confused because she was the same person who approved my extra month. She told me she had been trying to reach me about the issue but I checked my missed calls (nothing), voicemail (nothing) emails (nothing), not even a letter on the door. I had two weeks to get out. Overall I had the worst living experience at this property.

I lived there for three years and in that time someone tried to steal my motorcycle costing 700.00 in repairs then a month after I fixed it they just stole it and I lost 1500.00 on the insurance because of my deductible. Then they broke into my car stole everything out of it and the wheels and tires leaving it on chunks of concrete. It cost a lot to replace them and two weeks after that they tried to do it again but couldn't find my wheel lock after they broke my glove box. so they stole my radio and broke my windows so they wouldn't role up and down. So after all of that I finally move because that place did not provide a safe and friendly environment for me to live they refuse to refund my deposit because I broke my lease after they cost me THOUSANDS in damages. Just because they can't put up 200 ft of fence and four cameras. I do not recommend this place at ALL!

My experience with Darrin was amazing ! From doing the apartment tour to explaining pricing and answering all my questions!! I applied and next day i was approved ,everything was sent electronically and was so convenient for me, our Move in date was given and the process was so easy!! I think this was the easiest it's been for us!! Truly love how Darrin made everything so simple, very straight forward !!!! he deserves a raise,a promotion you name it !!!

My daughter lives there and their car has been broken into. The A/C hasn't worked right for 2 months runs 70 to 80 in their apt even when nice outside. They were informed of it but say nothing is wrong. They are rude when asked to repair something. Would NOT recommend this place.

I'm with the FAA and chose to stay at the Winchester Run Apartments, during my 1 month school, due to the location. It's 1 block from a police department, decent looking neighborhoods near by, also close to Moore, OK where the Warren theater is and Crossroads Mall is close by as well. BUT, the gate for the pool was locked with a closed sign up almost every day me and my son were there, a broken light fixture in the pool was a little concerning since the wires and socket were exposed, the room reeked of mildew and smoke, the frig didn't seem to work the first day, after 12+ hrs. it finely got cold enough for groceries. One week after moving in, vehicles got broken into throughout the apartments, etc. My son and I have severe allergies but I'm at the mercy of the complex that we stay at since cancelling an agreement and trying to find something else in the area is very difficult on short notice. We are currently having to rewash everything we had with us to get the smell out of our clothing. I DO NOT recommend this place based on my experience.
