Whip Dip

What type of food makes you nostalgic? I had the chance to join my dad for a quick lunch and we decided to visit the Whip Dip which is a local spot in Ada. They are primarily known for their burgers that have a generous seasoning of salt and pepper. However, you might be surprised at the extensive amount of sides they offer, which include many goodies ranging from savory things like Fried Okra to sweet like Fried Oreos.They were busy on a Thursday at lunch, but the line moved quickly and they have servers walk up to your car beforehand so by the time you make it to the window, your order is ready. This is a cash only place but even a hearty meal for two was around $15. They do have some picnic tables outside if the weather is nice but everyone we watched took their order to go. My food was hot and fresh, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato. If you're not prepared for the excess pepper, fair warning, but for me it is a simple twist on a classic entree. I also ordered the waffle fries as my side and they were fantastic. You can really taste that they were fresh out of the fryer.A meal like this is nice to enjoy in the car with the windows down, before you go about your day, and is a great excuse to make you feel like a kid again, like your getting away with something.I would recommend ordering many different sides to try which ones you like the best and enjoy it with family and friends!

Best Burger in town. Homemade peppered burgers. Our favorite place to grab burgers. Line has a wait but its totally worth it.

My best friend works here karlie and her sister and but not only that there are others here that are really nice and you know I love there food I wish they did card but that's not who they are and that's ok good food wonderful people go here

This place is usually crowded & has a long line, they do come out to get your order if the people at the window take a while. Normally the service & food are fairly good. Today my burger seemed a little pink inside & the bun was dry, the lettuce was old & brown & tomatoes were soggy as if the burger was made earlier in the day or the day before & heated up. It is cash only & pricy for the order size. My drinks were also flat with no fizz. I will go back, everyone has bad days, & you cannot get a pepper burger like you can there anywhere else.

Stopped by on my way through town and I'm glad I did. My mushroom burger with grilled onions was absolutely amazing and the chili cheese fries hit the spot as well (only $9 all in). They're cash only, but it's worth a trip to the atm for this food. I never leave reviews but had to give this place some love.

I wrote this to save the next person from this disappointing meal. I got lunch for son, wife and I burgers were mediocre, the fries and totes were grease filled to top it off the chicken nuggets I got for my son were rock hard. literally inedible. please do yourself a favor and just keep driving by this hole in the wall.

Took them 40 ish minutes to get my food. A whole line of cars went ahead of me they messed up my order and of course it was cold

Ada legend. Highly recommend the pepper burger. They are serious about the pepper. Line is usually long at lunch but moves fast.

Love their pepper burgers, onion petals, sodas and shakes!! Just bring cash! Ada must!!
