The parking garage situation is horrible, they offer paid parking for events near by but then shut down the elevators past the 2nd floor and 3rd floor if you're trying the stairs. The cherry on top is having to wait 1-2 hours because they don't have an attendant working nor a pre pay system to help avoid these problems!

Disclaimer: Didn't end up renting here, so just a review in regards to my application process. Started an application process and had a hiccup. This resulted in some back and forth and the communication degraded a bit which was frustrating to me. However, Kaylynn Brown, the Community Manager, maintained her professionalism and attempted to complete the transaction. That was very much appreciated. I unfortunately decided to go with another local complex, but wouldn't rule out living here at some future date.As for the complex itself, it's nice. It's in a good location. The amenities are on par if not better than comparative locations. The layouts in some of the apartments are odd. Overall, seems like a nice location to live.

Beware, the apartments review may be scewed they are threatening residents with defamation clauses they've buried in the leasing terms and trying to strong arm residents not to leave honest negative reviews. While the apartments are new and nice, the property management imposes so many extra fees and fines, I've lived here about 2 years and have had to deal with several instances of management trying to impose fees outside of what's in my lease. They lie about the lease length until you get the final lease to sign adding on extra days on the backend of your lease. After bringing it to their attention they refused to fix it and threatened me regarding a defamation clause in the lease.

Avoid, this place at all costs! MICE!!!!!!Not only does management not like when you voice your opinion about the cleanliness of the hallways and of the overall facility, but if you get upset that you have a mouse in your overly clean apartment, they terminate your lease because you speak up for yourself !I pay my rent on time. I have no issues with any tenants I come and go however I was asked to leave within 60 days and this is because I have documented the overall nastiness of this apartment complex having a mouse in my apartment was the last straw and nobody should have to live with rodents!! Do not be fooled by the exterior of this apartment complex ! Tenants leave trash out there are gross stains all in the hallways from trash! There is noise all throughout the night homeless people everywhere homeless people sleeping in the elevators!! I can go on and on! The overall apartment is cheap and small for the ridiculous amount of rent paid find something bigger and CLEANER in a quieter area with leasing agents that actually care!

My husband & I have lived here for just short of a year and we love it. The amenities are nice. The office staff is nice. Yes it's downtown so you so have to deal with some noise and homeless people but they keep the property secured and if you keep to yourself it's not a big deal. The lounges are amazing and they offer tons of things for the residents like events and resources.

Maintenance requests are often ignored, valet trash was sometimes picked sometimes not, and upon move out they came up with this ridiculous number of $200 utility fee? That we already had paid to just get more money out of us. Just an overall awful experience.

Avoid this place!!!! If I were you, rent elsewhere. Not only did our 3 bikes, which were attached to a 1/2 inch steel cable get stolen from the gated garage (our guess is it was a resident), but the early morning noise from dumpster pick-up, or homeless people at night or sirens from cops, were a constant nuisance. That's why we moved out after 5 months. My husband and I thoroughly cleaned our apartment before moving out and left it IMPECCABLE!!! I mean spotless!!! It was cleaner than when we moved in and despite this got charged a $100.00 cleaning fee + a $65.00 carpet cleaning fee which are not even stipulated on the contract. We took pictures of the "spotless" apartment when we left; however, they were ignored. How can a lady in the corporate office of Greystar assess our situation if she didn't even see the cleanliness of the apartment when we moved out?Apartment keys were returned on January 23. Pictures were taken the day before.

I had the worst experience I've ever had renting here. When I first moved in the leasing agent promised me the homeless people around would not bother me. However, I had a horrible experience with one of them chasing after me. I decided to tell the office for them to notify other residents or install security alarms and their response was "we can't do anything about it." Not even a sorry. There are homeless people constantly sleeping in the elevators you take to get to your floor and sleeping on the sidewalk right outside the apartment doors. These people are on drugs and are unpredictable, I did not feel safe at all. Felt scared to just walk my dog outside. Avoid leasing an apartment here.

I have lived at WV for 4 years now and it has been a fantastic experience. The maintenance and groundskeeping staff are amazing and do a great job keeping things running smoothly and looking nice. I imagine it takes quite a bit of work with all the transients in the area who leave trash and clothes laying around. The property staff is amazing. Corina, Hannah, and Shayla are some of the most helpful apartment managers I have ever had, and I've been living in apartments for almost 15 years now. Anytime I have requests they are addressed fairly quick! Shayla always greets Daisy and I with a smile and a wave when we walk through the office. It's little things like that which makes an individual feel part of the community they are living in. I have recommended friends to live here and will continue to recommend WV as a place to live as long as those three ladies are running this place.
