The up keep of this place is horrible - it doesn't look like normal maintenance has been done in a long while!!Customer service was friendly which is why I give a star. I was really looking forward to spending all day here but after one round on the obstacle courses I was unimpressed! The trampoline portions are all ripped, the inflatables are all losing air after only a short while not to be refilled. Alge filled inflatables, and be careful coming up the metal ladder which has a layer of alge, making it very slippery. Kinda bummed- it has potential but it needs a major re-vamp!We we're thinking about trying the cable boarding with training but after seeing the lack of maintenance it didn't seem like the safest idea!

This is a hidden gold mine that not many people know of. It's an amazing way to stay in shape or get the kiddos out of the house. The kids camp programs are amazing and it really feels like privet lessons from people who know what they are doing. You will get frustrated at the start and if you have never ridden any type of bored I would be careful. The only way you get going in a place like this is having an ok balance and you know how to listen.I praise the operators because they are fun and laid back but know how to teach and do their job. Coal is one of my favorite and he has taught kids that I didn't think had a chance getting around the cable. They are such good people and even though I only see them one week out of the year, they still make the effort to remember me and continue to teach me new things.Kids camp is amazing and it's where I learned everything. It's where you should learn to start because they have the cable slowed down and they make it fee more like a one on one session with each kid there. This place will put strain on your body and will make you feel sore every where. If you have never ridden cable get ready for a full body work out. It is the best way to push your body and the more you do it the stronger you feel. This entire facility is family owned and they make you feel like family. Wether you have a rockstar crazy attitude or a laid back chill one, there is most likely an operator there who you can connect with. The reason I give this place a 4 star is for 2 reasons. The first is the features. There used to be more but over time they were left to rot off to the side where no one can hit them. There is a large group of regulars that would love to see more but it just hasn't happened. Reason 2 is the lack of bordes. The rentals are good but they are old and could use a little bit of work. There are no bordes for sale here witch is weird because no other store in the state sells cable bordes or bindings. These negatives don't take away from a new riders experience though. It's only the experienced riders who are used to mega ramps are 20ft rails who will notice.

Wake boarding is lots of fun and this place makes it easy to learn. The staff are very friendly and helpful for beginners. I had an experienced friend come with me to help and was able to complete a lap on my first day, felt good. Prices are pretty fair, I recommend trying it for 2 hours if it's your first time. The cables make it pretty easy and convenient. If you fall on the other side of the lake (I did multiple times) it's a long hike back. People were generally pretty nice and helpful. It's a dirt road getting into the facility. Once you're in, there's dogs roaming the place but they are all super mellow. Bring water, you're going to be thirsty.

One of the best kept secrets in OKC. In fact, I kinda' don't want to leave a review because I don't want more people coming LOL! I just want to say to that other customer that we're all entitled to our own opinion, but that I think it's really unfair to give a 1 star review because you don't know how to swim, and don't have your own athletic stamina to try this sport. It's not the company's fault. Now, onto the review. Wake is so fun and my kids love it. I cannot personally get up at all. I have tried various times with awful fail videos my kids love to make fun of. My one child doesn't care for wake because it can be a long walk back when you fall at the back end of the lake. But my other two kids just love it. This lake is so clean. Did you know that Lost Lakes tests as cleanest lake water this year? It's one notch below drinkable water. Okay, so yeah, I'm THAT mom. I test lake and pond waters that my kids go into. I do this @ Eufala, etc... to make sure my kids stay healthy and there's no bad bacteria, etc. The absolute best part of Wake Zone is their kids camp. You can buy a weekly kids camp and then drop them off for either half or whole day. This ends up much less money than daycare and then they're NOT playing Fortnight. The inside has a cute concessions area and a bar. If I do have some areas for improvement for the management they would be these things: Check in on the restrooms more often. Most of the time they're just fine but can have issues on crowded days. Sometimes the music is not exactly appropriate for younger children that the operator is playing-- usually on a weekend. It's no problem asking them to change it as a mom, but would be nice not to have to do that. Last, they are probably already not allowed to do so, but sometimes an operator will be vaping or smoking on duty. Aside from those details, this is a fantastic place to spend the summer.

I will not go here unless you know good swimming for sure. You should be at least a moderate to high level swimmer. I don't know why this place doesn't heavily emphasize on this but trust me otherwise you will regret badly like I did.I went to this place for the first time after reading decent online reviews and buying Groupon. There was this girl on the counter who helped me. Right away I told her it was my first time. She had me filled out the forms online which basically states that they will not be responsible for anything regardless. After I was done she just told me where my stuff was which were helmet, life jacket and the board and just started to walk away. Never bothered to tell how to wear them and/or how to take the board out if fell in the water etc. I had to prompt her for those information. After grabbing my stuff I went to the boarding area where I was told to let the operator know about me as a first timer. I think the guy name was Matt/Max who was working as an operator. When I was wearing my stuff I realized that one of the shoes on the board had missing laces and was ripped. At that time I didn't want to walk all the way back to the office for exchange but how come I was given like that? The girl who helped me should have checked everything before just giving it away!I did the first try and was in the water right away. I immediately felt like I was drowning even wearing the life jacket. For some reason my face was keep going in and out of the water. Of course, being not a good swimmer also didn't help at all. They don't have any system where they can pull you to the shore. You are totally on your own as soon as you fell in the water. Keep in mind that beside swimming towards the shore you also need to hang on to your board. Not only that but there are other boarders who are coming right behind you so you need to watch out for them also. I guess my life jacket was also not good because I should not have gone in and out of the water. Somehow I managed to get to the shore with my stuff and decided to try again. Unfortunately, the operator didn't bother to tell me what I did wrong on the first try so I can avoid that. Only when asked then I was told what I did wrong. After few tries I was extremely exhausted specially because of all the "swim" I did and the dirty water inside my lungs. Yes, the other regular boarders were nice and are willing to help you but still you are pretty much on your own to do it unless you buy lessons. I left home exhausted and extremely unsatisfied. Again, this is for you only if you are a good swimmer!

My family had a blast! The staff is very friendly and helpful to beginners. The owners are on property and so nice. I recommend at least 2 or 4 hour pass, especially for beginners. It takes a while to get the hang of it. My Kids ( ages 7, 12, 14, 15) loved it. My 7 year old is very adventurous, I'm not sure every 7 year old would try it. Work on your hand grip strength before going. Tell them the Peach family sent ya! We were their very first groupon customers.

Wake zone offers weeklong summer camps, so one of my boys signed up. By the end of the first day, my other son signed up as well. Will is an awesome instructor; very patient, encouraging, and gave them great instruction. All of the staff here are friendly and very helpful. Looking forward to spending lots more time here watching my sons and husband having fun on the water.

Wake Zone is the best. I discovered them a few years ago while searching for summer activities for my son. They had a kid's camp with prices so amazing in comparison to other types of week-long "camps" that we had to give it a try. He loved it. Well, that was an understatement. He loved it so much that he has now spend every summer there with a season pass. Wakeboarding is his main sport now. Wake Zone has a great restaurant and plenty of lounging areas along the lake to relax and meet new friends. The cable operators are so awesome and will help you if you want to give it a try--it doesn't matter your ability level.
