A nice park. Simple and sweet. They do have WIFI there. There is a nice walking path there as well as a nice playground for the kiddos. There is bathrooms and a covered picnic area. I feel like the playground here is a lot more fun than the playground at Buck Thomas. It is fairly clean and there is two parking lots available.

I like to come here to jog, walk my dog, or let my grand baby play in the playground. The park is kept pretty clean and has a nice memorial with flags and lights. The sidewalk (almost one mile around) runs along a little creek and crosses a residential street at 2 places but it is not hard to cross. It is a nice area, well lit, with a pavilion with picnic tables and plenty of places to sit in the area, if you need a break. There are bathrooms available, which I really appreciate. There is also a water fountain. They had doggie bags in several places for dog-walkers to clean up after their animals, I just wish more people would actually use them!

You really have to take the time to stop and visit this place or, like me, you'll just drive by it all day. It's well kept, and a nice place to sit and contemplate a few minutes.

Love this park! The city recently added WiFi, so you can listen to podcasts, music or just surf the web while you are here. The kids playground is large and has all kinds of cool things for the little ones to focus on. The park has a cool design for walkers and runners, as well, so it's never been easier to get back in shape.

I noticed this park had only one other review, so, I figured I would pass along my two cents. I might be partial to Veteran's Park because I am a veteran. As a matter of fact I have a long history of veterans from both mine and my wifes family, in all branches. There are places to reflect away from the playground, as well as a pretty long walking/biking trail. The different memorials are something to see especially the wall of honor. This memorial is dedicated to those who have served in the past as well as the present that call Moore home. My wife and I will have the pleasure of having our names added this coming Memorial Day. And for the first reviewer, be patient with the shade. The tornado in 2013 (damaging winds) took out the first set of trees, but the city is making strides to get them growing after having to plant new ones. There is a pavilion that anyone can use on a first come first served basis and if you happen to drive by you will see this place packed in the coming weeks. The good weather definitely brings them out!

This park is busy from sun up to sundown! It has daily walkers/joggers. The track is a continuous concrete loop (wider than a normal sidewalk) about a mile in length. Dogs bring along their humans for walks quite often. There are waste receptacles with plastic bags (pooper scoopers) around the park. A small creek runs through the park and people stop on bridges or sit on benches to observe turtles/ ducks and other wildlife. Trees line about half of the walking trails, so that area is cooler in the heat. The children's play area is a little larger than average. The metal does get hot during the heat of a summer day as this is the only time when this activity is less busy. There is a large covered picnic area which can be reserved thru the parks department. One restroom area is available. The park has many memorials to Veterans. The wooden statues that show men in different eras of uniform is a favorite. Parking does get full at times.
