Vernie Snow Aquatic Center

First time back at this pool in years, and I must say I am very disappointed in how it is being ran now. There are kids all over, in all three parts of the pool, running, and climbing through the rails (which I can only keep my kid from doing these things, but I have no control over the others). Anyways, there are kids playing in front of the slide while kids are coming down it just waiting to get knocked in the face, kids all over in the diving area while kids are jumping off the boards. And on top of all that only 1 lifeguard (who is not even paying attention to the kids but instead looking at his Apple Watch) was put out to watch ALL of the children in ALL three areas! This place has honestly gone down the drain and the staff is just plain rude.

A great place overall, but not without a few flaws.1) Breaks. Every hour. I understand that the lifeguards need a break, but don't you have enough to trade out seamlessly?2) Locker rooms. I know it's a pool and all, but the locker rooms are disgusting!3) That moment when some kid poops in the pool. Not a big deal, right? Just close down the affected pool. Nope. Apparently they have to shut down the entire center (one huge pool, two smaller ones) for 45 minutes until the chlorine "soaks in." Or maybe they're just waiting for my money to "soak in." Too bad this happens nearly everyday. 4) No water guns. None. Not even a small pistol. BORING.5) BLASTING MUSIC. IT'S REALLY LOUD, BUT SO IS THE POOL, SO YOU DON'T REALLY KNOW WHAT THE SONG IS. Nice place, but some serious flaws. Save your money and go somewhere worth it.
