So I stopped here as well looking for red bell peppers and the sign said local food daily. Figured I'd grab a bite. There is a nice display of melons on the loading dock. Walked in and didn't see any type of food nor was there anyone at the front to talk to. Walked around and looked for peppers and other items. Nobody ever came to the front. They have a nice selection of pastas, sauces, jams and jelly as well as many other items. They are a little pricey on a lot of the stuff but there were some deals. Never did find local food or assistance so I left. Maybe next time

Cozy lil local produce and meats! Everything I've tried from this gem has been great quality. It's awesome seeing that the meat they carry is raised local, such as Enid. Buying local rocks! And plus the staff are great peeps :)

Oh my heavens, I love, love, love this store! It is a locally owned store that carries locally made products. They only carry meat from Oklahoman farmers that is mostly organic and ethically killed. When I questioned them they gave me the names so I could personally check them out. The store itself is adorable and I felt like I was stepping into a Little House on the Prairie with modern facilities. So cool! The staff and owner was so helpful and friendly. I wish I could give more stars than 5.

I always try to stop by here when I'm in the area. They have the best selection of locally grown and made food and I love the feeling of supporting my fellow Oklahomans. They also have seasonal plants for sale and I recently bought some beautifully arranged succulent plants that I'm so pleased with. Each container included a rock or crystal and I've already received compliments on them. They've really put lots of time and love into their store. It's beautiful inside and the staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable.

Urban Agrarian has some of the best Made in Oklahoma products in OKC. I love that I can find anything from OK pop corn to soap to cheese and don't forget the fruits and veggies too! It's like it's own little self contained farmers market. Oklahoma City Blvd makes it so easy to get to now. It's worth a visit, again and again.

I wanted to introduce my mom to this spot since my last visit was such a positive one. However we did not receive a warm reception (none actually). I could see that the cashier was in training, but the other woman had been very friendly with the couple prior to us, but cool as a cucumber when we approached. Neither of us were impressed enough to return. There's a number of other local producers and outlets that I can visit.

I want to love UA, I really do. 3 stars for the concept, because they travel and have a farm stand, which was nice years ago when there weren't many farmers markets. UA was open everyday, so if you needed just one or two things before market, it was handy. Now, I just can't. Their prices are EXUBERANT. Almost laughable. They have stands at most farmers markets. I understand the farmers add a little on the top to make some money. But then you add a middle man and they add a LOT to the top so they still make money. Blueberries were $9/lb at the market this weekend! Wtf. My mom is picking blueberries at a farm outside of Tulsa for THREE DOLLARS A POUND. $3. Three. I immediately text her to pick lbs and freeze them for me. And yes, I get its cheaper to pick yourself and go straight to the farm but the disconnect in price is discouraging. Again, I hate that. I love their storefront and the idea and they are always so nice. I guess I'm just the odd duck that can't afford it!

I'd like to say that the best thing about Urban Agrarian is how unpretentious it is. But that would be undermining the fact that the best thing about it is the food itself. Obviously, a place that is truly about the food will be unpretentious, right? And yet, things don't always work out that way. Fortunately, it does at Urban Agrarian. It's perfectly crunchy for the right reasons. Who needs icing on the cake when you go to get good local produce and locally produced breads, granolas, pastas, etc.? This is my favorite grocer in OKC in spite of its small size and selection. I know that what I'm getting supports the community. No complaints that opening hours are slimmer than the 24hr big box. This kind of grocer feels good.

Why eat local? Because it taste so much better! This place is what Okies dream of. Fresh local produce. Free range eggs. Local hormone free dairy. Warm baked goods made from all local ingredients. Best part: you can have a conversation about where your food comes from. Talk about how those Cherokee Purples from Tahlequah are so good this year. Talk about how the Strattford Peach farms really got hit by that ice storm. About that young man who raises cattle in Shawnee. Matthew Burch and April Harrington are reviving the Farmers Market District. I am so grateful for them. Matt goes around to all the local producers in his waste oil powered Veggie Van and picks up goods to sell at the market. April runs Earth Elements which utilizes the goods of local producers to make great stuff like whole wheat pizza crust, oatmeal cookies, dill pickles and chow chow! Not only do they have the market open several days a week now (now you don't have to wait for weekends!) but they have opened a Entrepreneurs Kitchen so local folks can rent a health inspected kitchen and try new recipes/products and new business ideas. It's brilliant really.

They had a decent selection of local products from goat milk soaps, to fresh peaches. I was also impressed with how kind the service was (which is always a huge plus for me)!
