They allowed me to self contract my own home with their help of making sure everything flowed correctly and checking over everything during the building process to ensure it was done correctly.

Great place to get advice on home building. Would recommend them. I would recommend that you go with their project management option. U can still build your home but they are more involved.

Do not use UBuildIt. They are too expensive and do not provide any value. They delayed my project acting as intermediary between myself and the designer. The UBuildIt team then claimed that I should have been communicating directly with the architect, and that they were not responsible for the delays. Then after a flurry of supposed contractors came in to look over the project to submit bids, the employee in charge of the project allegedly left without leaving any of the bid information. This delayed the project further. Then they gave me a pretty much worthless "construction manual" which was not tailored to the project.

Rip Off..Don't do it. Been trying to build some 2021... hundreds of thousand in the hole.

It was great to be in control of your home building process. However, you need to be fully aware of how much time you have to give to the project. I highly recommend their plus contract to help with that.

I have had an amazing experience working with UBuildlt! Everyone is so friendly! I have gained so much knowledge and information about building a house. I truly feel like they have accepted us as part of the Team in building our Dream House and forever home! If you are looking to build a home please check them out first!

U-Build-It, Total rip offThe budget they provide bank doesn't even come close to real numbers. Then send you contractors that do shotty work, show up late or don't show at all. Then when you seek recourse against contractors U-Build-It provided. U-Build-It says well you selected them ??? From a list U-Build-It provided. U-build-It gets the lions share of their $$$ before your project is finished then back pedals when you're grossly over budget and can't complete your project. And you're on the hook for all the $$$ with the bank. They sell you a dream and give you a nightmare that will haunt you.

Well at first we were impressed, but you know how some companies are.They show you all of the bells and whistles then little by little those bells stop ringing and whistles are silent. When had signed our contract and gave them the $500 they require for the start up fee then they forget all about you. It has been since November of last year and I don't think we have received three phone calls from them. Then then original sales guy left and we get a new person. Keegan? I'm not sure because I never get a return phone call. Especially after I told him I had been laid off due to Covid-19 and we were not going to be in any kind of financial freedom to build a new home. I told him I understood we had a contract but could we possibly get a pass because of these circumstances to get our $500 back. Of course I never got a call back when he said he would. I did a consult with u build it about six months ago. It screamed dirty car dealer, but I decided that it was all part of the process. Of course they need to sell you in order to get your business. I fully planned on using them until we found out that our new neighbors were general contractors and super awesome people. So, we will be getting an awesome deal. But that's not why I'm writing this review. I'm writing it because the other day I got a phone call from them asking me if I am ready to move forward. When I said, "actually we have decided to go with someone else." The response was an immediate change in tone-- "oh so you're going to waste money." It was really rude how quickly the switch flipped. Heads up u build it.... that's NOT how you get customers. That's how you get crappy reviews.

UBuild is an absolute scam. You need to understand that Bob Braudrick (AKA ScumBob) is not running a service company. He's running a sales company. The point of the initial budget meeting is not to make a realistic budget, it's to get you to sign the contract. They are going to attempt to convince you that you can build your dream house for whatever budget you have. BEWARE!! It's only a sales pitch. The consultants who should be technical experts who inspect your home are actually customer relations people. They are there to tell you they will help out in any way, but they don't actually have the ability to inspect your home. The entire staff is a sales organization. Watch out if you're dumb enough to sign the contract! UBuild It - "where it's better to have a contract than competence". If you want to build your own house, you CAN do it! But don't limit your budget by paying ScumBob. He's only going to take your money and he's absolute human debris.
