Turner Falls Inn

Update: June 2017. Don't know if new owners but they seem rude and wanted to charge me more for asking for military rate than what is listed on the website. Never even responded to my email. Nice friendly owners. Very helpful clean cabins. These cabins are older has history. Comfy and would recommend

Do not stay here if you come to turner falls cabin #8 is disgusting clipped nails under the bed along with old peanuts, tangled hair under the sheets, open your floor vents and the air filters are packed. I understand this place is rustic and old but this is unacceptable the owners should be ashamed

The cabin/lodge would have been perfect for our family of six. However, every mattress had BED BUGS. The owners returned our money for our reservation of the next night so we could find another hotel, yet there was no compensation for me staying up all night watching my children to ensure that bugs weren't crawling on them. Since i couldn't get in contact with the owners at 8:22 am or 8:37 am, i left a msg advising them of the problem. We took our children to turner falls park to carry on with our vacation until i could get in touch with the owmers. Two more phone calls later at 10:37, they returned my call to apologize, stating they had removed our belongings so they could spray. They also said the inspector couldn't find any bed bugs when i offered to provide them several pictures. Needless to say, they had another family booked in the room 2 hours later when we picked up our belongings. To top it off, All our clothes were placed in a bag with an opened shampoo bottled, so we had to buy new clothes for everyone! Its unfortunate because the cabins have so much potential.

We reserved a cabin for a girls weekend. While we understand the cabin is 75+ years old, and that this is a "ma and pa" inn, neither of these are the problem. As all five of us girls are gathered near the fireplace, we are all beyond repulsed by the amount of roaches that have overtaken our cabin. Again, the cabin itself is very cute, but the hundreds of small roaches roaming around is overwhelming. We are from out of state, or we would have already left. Calling to have the problem addressed would be near pointless, as I can never get the owners to answer even after leaving a voicemail. Would never recommend.

I stayed in these cabins just this past weekend and I was pleasantly surprised!! After reading some iffy reviews about the inn I was a bit skeptical but our cabin was clean and right next to the park. We had no issues with our stay and my family and I will definitely be returning this summer. Our cabin was over looking the creek and the scenery was beautiful, my only complaint was the weather not being warm enough for the kids to play in the water. The beds were comfy and the cabins were clean. Satisfied customer
