Trompudo’s Tacos

A part of me was fine with never trying Trompudo's Tacos because of how far away it was from me but, now that I've had it, I kinda want to make the drive for more Tortas and burritos. They really nail the spices here and the cost:quantity ratio is great. We ordered a steak torta, burrito, and al pastor tacos. Every menu item we ordered was delicious on its own, but they all tasted even better with their assortment of salsas. My favorite was the spicy pineapple, it had a great mix of sweet and heat and tasted great on everything. The included chips and queso were tasty too - the queso had a taste and consistency similar to Velveeta, which I think is great but it may not appeal to everyone. Service was fast and friendly, I called in a takeout order and they had the food ready earlier than I expected; they also have a drive-thru option for easy pickup, so +1 for the extra convenience.Easy recommendation. I wish I lived closer, I would give them all my money all the time. Maybe it's best for my wallet this way, but I'm looking forward to stopping by again soon.

Best tacos in okc! If you're looking for margs or beers you'll get the basics but the tacos steal the show. Must try. Service is always great. Restaurant is always clean. Salsa selection is fantastic.

The tacos were great and flavorful. The queso wasn't a runny consistency, it thickened up fast. They could definitely work on their cocktails. Order the spicy margarita. It did not taste like a margarita, more like a spicy water. It was cool that they their sauces had suggestions on what they best pair with. Definitely will be back for the tacos, and tacos only,

I think Trompudos tacos used to be Taco Bell from the look of the outside, the inside, and the drive through but luckily it is much much better than Taco Bell. Good little variety on the menu. I ordered the torta and it came out super quick. It wasn't the best torta I've ever had but it was good. Especially the bread. I also really enjoyed four of their salsas which I smothered on the torta.

Consistency is key for me when it comes to food! If I love it for the first time, I always go back to make sure my love is consistent. I'm here to report that consistency is here at Trompudos! We ordered the burrito and quesadilla again but this time we asked for the spicier salsa in addition. Phew their spicier salsa was definitely way spicier than the salsa that automatically comes with your food. I love spicy but wow when it's too spicy where I don't enjoy my food, I can go without it. My hubby loved it, so it didn't go to waste lol otherwise, the flavors of our food were amazing again. Every time I'm in the area, I plan on stopping by!

Been here twice and it's been great both times. Once for dine in, food came out hot and fresh. Service was impeccable. The inside is a little small, only 12 total tables, so at lunch it filled up quick. The second was a to go order. Pictures provided. Neatly wrapped up food. Still hot by the time I got back to work, only 5 minutes away. All in all, solid lunch choice.

If you want phenomenal tacos, go here. So dang good and packed with flavor. And the caddy of salsa offer perfect pairings for whatever you order. Highly recommend.

Tasty tacos at a price you can't beat! We decided to give this place a chance, and we are so glad we did. We were trying to look for a casual taco place, and this was exactly what we were looking for. Once you walk in, the environment is very laid back with space for large groups. They have an ordering area strictly for food, and a bar inside. Lots of taco options! There's also other options if you're craving something else: tortas, nachos, quesadillas and more! We got the chips and queso. My boyfriend got a variety of tacos and I got all chorizo tacos. The tortillas were a little oily, but still so tasty. Your order comes with an array of salsas ranging from mild to very hot! A sauce for everyone. We left satisfied and would definitely come back again. Give this place a try!

I've been wanting to try this spot for at least a year now and I finally did today. LET ME TELL YOU... It did not disappoint. I had 3 tacos and a beer which hit the spot. It's the Southside so you can pretty much get a taco anywhere; however, it's been a long time since I had one as flavorful and with the perfect amount of crunch. If u don't mind paying a tiny extra per taco, then you'll really enjoy these. They have six sauces to choose from as well that vary from mild to having your nose sweat. The beer was Cold which is all u can really ask for. The vibe is nice too, with continuous music playing at a good volume where u can still talk and hear your thoughts. I only had the pleasure of meeting the young lady at the register who was also my server, but she was really nice and attentive. I can't wait to try other things on the menu soon.

No frills but awesome food! You can order almost anything with your protein of choice-I like the Carne Asada and the Suadero. I feel certain the others are tasty too-just can't get passed ordering those two. I love that they have refried beans in spicy or non spicey. Most of the salsa's are spicy but that's what salsa is for. The chips are always fresh.This is not Tex-Mex-you would be disappointed if that's what you are looking for. But if you want flavorful Mexican food that won't upset your stomach from the grease load-this is it.
