Asked and paid for a king. Got 2 queens and then stuff was pilfered through on the second day.
Tiny bathroom with a toilet that doesn't flush and is apparently the spot of a murder scene according to papers and motel history.
Fraudulent charge from the TownHouse Motel

Stayed at the hotel for buisness. Politely asking before hand for an upstairs room as I needed to wake up and go to bed early and did not wish to be woken by other guests stomping about overhead. First off, the king beds are a myth. Me and another i know that came up here for buisness and booked seperated rooms at the Townhouse Motel via online. Both of us asked for king beds. Neither of us got a king. In fact none of the rooms even have a kings sized bed. (Found this out after talking to a few of the other guests). Only 2 queens and twins.Check in was rough as when I checked in, the older woman at the desk tried to charge me despite the room having already been payed for and me clearly stating that I had a buisness reservation under my name. In which she seemed to completely ignore me despite my efforts to tell her several times that I had a booking and an already paid for room. Charging my card anyway. When I asked why she charged me, she said that it was for the "holding fee". My card declining the payment, which I found odd as if it was just the room cost ($221.79 for 2 nights) and a $50 holding fee as stated then the charge Would have gone through. When I showed proof that I had already paid she then made a call and used the excuse of 'sorry this is first time online booking.' An odd note as I knew that one of my compatriots already had arrived hours before hand who also has his room booked online via the same method. Plus there were reviews over booking.com.Luckily I did get an upstairs room as asked, however upon entry I quickly noticed that it was not very clean nor was it what was paid for. The shower had hair in it, both beds had dirt and a rough hard spots on the sheets, the toilet had issues flushing, the microwave and fridge were both hooked up to a very old and stained extension cord (luckily they worked, but still dangerous and a fire hazard), the TV didn't turn on, some of the plug in sockets and lights didn't work, and there were dried roaches, dirt, and hidden trash tucked into corners around the room. And, to my sadness, no king bed. When I asked for one the answer I received by the owner was a nonchalant "don't worry about it." before he ignored me to walk his dog. Refusing to talk any further or even allowing me to switch rooms due to it being gross. I was nice, polite, and quite the whole time, but was still treated poorly. The woman who helps run the place (possible wife to the owner) was being super creepy and constantly nosey throughout the whole stay. Following me around and staring me down the whole time with any chance she got. Even to the point where she harassed some of my friends who stopped by to say hello and bring me some pain medicine for a headache that I had due to the heat of the day. Giving them the same treatment. The second day, after coming back to the hotel from my job I noticed that all of my bags had been pilfered through and quite a few things were out of place and missing. The bathroom had been tidied a bit (towels picked up, but not replaced) from a sub-par room service, but quite a few of the smaller things that I had sitting out on the work table in the main room were just gone. The things and bags on the desk also having been pillaged through. Luckily it wasn't anything too meaningful or expensive, but it definitely impeded my work as well as I had lost about $50 worth of supplies. In which I tried to again speak to the owner only to be completely ignored after finding out that the phone in the room doesn't even work. At night I would have night terrors the whole time. The whole place having terrible vibes and a very dark and sickening feel to it. After asking around, all of my friends and coworker had experienced it too. Only to find out a day later that the room and hotel I was staying in was haunted as someone had been killed in the exact room that they had placed me in! Not typically a bad thing as some people like that, but definitely would have been nice to know or to NOT have been given or Allowed to switch out of that specific room. An option I was not allowed and ignored when asked. The third and final day, after I had packed up and left, I got an email from my bank about a possible fraud. Only to find out the reason why my card had declined the charge at check in. The Townhouse Motel had tried to charge me $2210.00 just for two nights!!! My bank thankfully declining the charge from me not being as rich as they thought. Trying to contact and talk to the owners about this just got me ignored with a " it okay. Goodbye" response followed by a swift hang up. This place is NOT a good place to stay! They do not clean, they avidly stalk their customers, they pilfer through belongings and take anything they think you won't miss (theft), AND they try and charge you an ungodly amount just to see how much they can get away with. This place is sketchy to a T and I will NEVER stay here again!

Stayed at this motel for two nights. Could not be more pleased. I'm had the non-smoking room with a king size bed. The room was good size and very clean. It also had a coffee maker, fridge, microwave and cable TV. The motel is located two blocks from downtown Guthrie. Parking downtown can get crowded, so enjoy a nice walk. Good restaurants and antique stores downtown. Thank you for a great visit. I will be back.

This place was Absolutely Criminal and Disgusting! Read the recent 1 star posts, because they're going to give you alot more accurate of a tale. Gross Room Full of Dead Roaches and Trash, Mold behind the mirror, Hidden Fees, Toilet Didn't Work and had a floating turd in it, Bed Sheets were Dusty, Cobwebs Galore, Lights Didn't Work, Fridge and Microwave we're extremely old and hooked up to one very stained and Very Old Extension Cord making a Basic Fire Hazard, Light Switch Sparked when flipped on, and No King Sized Beds Period! The rooms say they're only $55 a night, but the bank statement said different than the reciept! More like $250 per night as we were charge $500 for a 2 nights stay!!! Something in which the hotel has refused to even talk to us about and of which I am DEFINITELY DISPUTING! The hotel workers/owners are Sketchy and Creepy! Avidly Following their customers around to Track Coming and Goings in order to Steal! Both our Hairbrush AND Emergency Cash were Stolen out of the room and I know we Locked it and Double Checked! Came back to Shoddy Room Service. Only the trash being taken, but No turned down sheets or fresh towels and Both Hairbrush AND Money we're Missing!!! Sad i say I finally found and read the most Recent posts AFTER our visit. Would never have booked here if they had not been hidden! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHADY SHAM OF A BUISNESS!

This place deserves no stars. It is a very dirty place. We were so tired of driving for 16hrs that we fell asleep as soon as we hit the bed. When we woke up in the morning we were so disgusted because we found over 15 bed bugs all over the beds. When I went in the office to ask for a refund or atleast half of it a small pettite indian rude lady that was there was super rude. She said "your lying I dont believe that" when I told her she could go take a look for herself because the sheets had blood stains from the ones we had already killed. She kept arguing that she doesnt believe me & didnt even bother to go check. So please be very careful if you end up checking in in this horrible poor c.s motel.
