Communication with owner is very bad. She changed the serving times multiple times and sent multiple contracts. Then when invoice was signed and showed they would serve 6-11, 3 days out she decided to change and say they would only do 4.5 hours AND that they would only serve til 10:15, which was never part of the conversation or contact. Then when I asked questions about signature drink and who mixed the nonalcoholic portions, was told if I did they would pour it all out. Again, our first time using a bartender for a wedding so was just asking questions...then was threatened to get a refund and another bartender if I didn't like the changes and times and answers to my questions. Honestly when I signed the contract it stated I would get a list of quantities, instructions on what to do with the liquor to get to the event and any other questions answered......after me asking about 4 times in email, I would eventually get some kind of answer but most of the time not what I was really asking. If you book them READ AND MAKE CERTAIN that the hours that agreed upon are what you are getting!!!! The night of the wedding, bar tenders were nice and friendly for the most part, but Indont understand why I get 20 cases of beer and 45 min before they stop serving they tell people there is no more beer...yet I had 9 cases left!!! They said because they didn't ice them down...WHY!? You came an hour and a half before....when you saw you were getting low why didn't you get more I e or put them in the fridge or freezer!? Was it because you supplied the ice and so didn't want to spend the extra money?? Giving them 2 stars because the bartenders did work hard and I appreciated them, but could definitely improve with keeping stuff cold, not ID'ing people for water, and worked with dj to announce last call....which I had to do, especially if you are deciding to change your contract and invoice for times to serve. If you have another option for bartenders, I may look for all reviews prior to choosing this one.....and not just the ones on their Facebook page. I think they probably control those. I was also talking to another groomsmen whose wife is a planner and they also are having bad communication issues with this vendor!! SO.....not just us!

They are incompetent when it comes to working with kegs. They wanted to charge, on top of the standard charge, $1,000 just to serve from kegs rather than pouring from liquor bottles because "it is more difficult". In hindsight, I realize this was just to deter us from using kegs, as they were unfamiliar. The kegs arrived at the venue about 6 hours before they were served by Top Shelf. Admittedly, not ideal but well early enough. They were cooled to 33-34 degrees and I personally set them up with a regulator at about 8psi. I tested all taps and poured several foam-free beers before they showed up. When they showed up, they poured ice into my kegerator, ignoring the temperature gauge I have installed in it, and cranked the pressure to over 30psi. Then, they approached several people, who did a great job of insulating me from this disaster, and told them they "would do their best but if a keg hasn't been sitting still for over 48 hours, it will be much to foamy". This used my entire bottle of CO2 in one evening and wasted a lot of good, expensive, beer as foam. They seemed professional and weren't unpleasant to work with, but make sure you don't use them if you're serving beer (in a keg) at your event.
