Toast & Jam

Visiting for the week, decided to come here for breakfast. Just looking at the listing on Maps, it looked like a nice place and had a wide variety of options for food. It is nice inside, the service was okay, food was decent. My only complaint was that my partner's omelet came with a substantial amount of eggshells in it, described as "like eating gravel." I'm not one to raise a huge stink about something not coming out right, but I did mention the shells to the host when she asked how everything was as we paid. Her response was, "Well, you know, they're made fresh so..." before trailing off.All of this to say that it is a decent place forbreakfast, but maybe avoid anything that's scrambled.

*EDIT: I spoke to the owner, she was very kind. They are refunding my meal and offered to host us sometime this week. Lindy was very apologetic.*The food we tasted was great. Even the kids portions are huge. My son highly recommends the French toast. The parfait is killer.We tasted four bites before Jacquie needed to pee and Wayne had jam everywhere. We hadn't gotten the check or anything, so we headed to the potty. And came back to an empty table. We were presented a $47 ticket. For four bites each. Spoke to manager... we reordered just the toast since my kids were still hungry. It was supposed to be free, but was not. And the manager told us we should have *asked the server permission to use the bathroom* so our nearly untouched food wasn't thrown out. So, our four bites didn't cost me the original $47, but $54. Utterly ridiculous.

This new restaurant in Lawton is in a very convenient location. I was very impressed when I tried it for the first time today. We were seated right away and greeted by our server in less than 30 seconds; talk about custom service! The inside is beautiful! To be busy it was very organized by the staff, as soon as a table would leave there would be someone cleaning it off so the customers coming in did not have a wait time and then the servers were right there greeting their new table. The food was DELICIOUS. This is the new breakfast go to for me!

Atmosphere is great, and a welcome change esp since Lawton offers little in the way of nice places to eat. Food though, is low quality, mediocre and overpriced. On one visit with the office team my omelet was undercooked, and on a second visit with family on a sunday morning we were charged $5 ea. for two sides of undercooked bacon with our kids' $8 pancake orders (that only included pancakes. $13 each for our kids to eat pancakes and bacon is too pricey, and $65 for a family to eat breakfast would only be acceptable if this was a nicer city and if the food was higher quality.

This place is new here in Lawton. Fast service & great tasting food. You really feel the workers care about us. Very quick in providing great customer service.

Always busy, but they get you seated pretty quickly! Everytime I try a new dish it becomes a favorite! Excellent service especially for how busy they are, and always a positive attitude!

Walked in for a table of six and we were seated within like 7 min, and I honestly thought it would take longer because there was a lot a people.. food was very good. I wanted to take pictures but my family could not wait to dig in before I did lol

So my daughter and I went here because we heard wonderful things about the place. Food looked great when the waitress brought it out. I ordered the farmers skillet came with pancakes ordered side of grits. This Oklahoma we know good grits right... daughter orders garden omelette added chicken sausage came with hash browns. Huge portions right..my thoughts okay we on to something... NOPE FOOD was straight horrible. I couldn't even eat it. Tried to add salsa, salt and pepper...nothing works...Pancakes & hash-browns were great. Drinks were even worst. We ordered a pineapple mimosa (horrible) it had glitter all in it. Not appealing at all..The champagne tastes like it had been sitting out over night. You know that flat taste...yeah that's what it tastes like. Returned it got an espresso martini...definitely not what it was supposed to be. It looked aesthetically pleasing with the glitter flakes but nope...tastes even worse. Returned it. Opt for water. Definitely would not go back at all. Do not recommend at all.

The place is nicely decorated. They have "flavored" water refreshments in the patio while you're waiting for your table. Didn't take long to get a called back for a table. The food was sub par for the price. My husband said he could've gotten a better country fried steak at iHOP. The servings were large but taste wise? I wasn't impressed.

Was a little concerned about the chorizo when I ordered it but man, it was awesome!!! I'd definitely get it again and would suggest it to anyone who likes a lil spice and lots-a-flavor. Great job chef!
